What is your name?
My artist name is LECADE
What is your genre of music?
I would say my music is a little emo , with a Country take on it.
Give us a little bio about you.
I’m a 21-year-old artist born in Baton Rouge Louisiana. Music has been my life since I was 15 years old. My father introduced me to Country music at a young age so it’s only natural that I picked it up.
What made you go into music?
I kind of got into music because of my father—he is in a band that plays at honky tonks all over the south…as well as some friends at school who were getting interested as well. I originally was drawn to hip hop and pursued that for a few years before I found Country was really where I wanted to be.
Who are your influences?
Some of my biggest musical influences are guys like Koe Wetzel , Parker McCollum, Juice Wrld , Kid Laroi and Hardy.
Are you signed?
Yes, I’m signed to Big Machine Records.
You released your new latest Single ‘Bed We Made’, tell us more about the single and the meaning behind the song.
“Bed we Made” is a special song to me. It was one of the first songs I made when I got to Nashville in 2022. It’s really just about having to live with the consequences of your own actions and accepting the reality of your circumstances even though they may be harsh.
Describe the track in two words.
I would describe the track as “sad” and “moody.”
What was the writing and recording process like?
We wrote the song in Austin Shawn’s studio one morning –it came together so easily we just knew it would turn out great.
Who did you work with on the single?
I worked on the track with Austin Shawn. Austin’s a great friend and producer here in town and I’m super grateful for him for producing and writing this track with me.
Are we expected to see a music video for ‘Bed We Made’, if so, what can expect from it?
We do have a music video out for the track, it can be found on the LECADE YouTube channel. Watch it here
Will we see an EP or Album if so, what can we expect from it and the meaning behind it.
We’re really trying to nail these singles right now so I haven’t really given much thought to a full album yet. Consistently putting out the best music we can is always the number one priority.
Do you have any live shows coming up?
We have some big live shows coming up this year. We have the Tailgates and Tall Boys festival on June 15—that’s probably the biggest in addition to CMA Fest and another festival on the books for October out in Sacramento. I can’t wait to get out there and meet fans.
Let us know where we can get tickets if so.

What else can we expect in 2024?
In 2024, I’m hoping to put out as many tracks out as possible for the fans, get out on the road and play shows and continuing to create music.
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
In 5 years, I want to doing what I love—creating music and being an artist on the biggest scale that I can.
What quote or saying do you always stick by?
“Burn the boats.”
When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?
The most important things I make sure not to forget are: -That I’m up there for and because of the fans-To keep the energy level high -To warm up my voice before taking the stage -My set time and cues!-The words!
