Give us a little bio about you.
Hailing from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India, Jolly is a seasoned pop/
electronic producer with 7 years of musical expertise. Specializing in pop and
electronic productions, along with vocal arrangements, Jolly’s work has garnered
praise in Los Angeles and captivated a global audience. A graduate of Icon Collective, Jolly earned the Student Of The Year and Collaboration Of The Year awards, establishing himself as a versatile producer. As we enter 2024, he is set to release his debut EP, ‘Jolly Good Vol.1,’ drawing inspiration from electronic
music and pop. With a distinctive sound and a track record of accolades, Jolly is an
artist poised for breakthrough success in the coming year.
What made you go into music?
My brother introduced me to Martin Garrix back in 2015 and I was bamboozled by his tracks. I was
super curious on how EDM was made. Then I started watching YouTube tutorials on EDM production.

You released your new latest Single ‘Slowly’, tell us more about the single and the meaning behind
the song.
The single ‘Slowly’ is about loving someone you can’t have and telling them that you can treat them
better than everyone else. It’s an upbeat Garage track with a pop structure and catchy melodies.

What was the writing and recording process like?
So I first found a guitar sample that inspired the whole track. And then I recorded the whole topline
over it and did the production. Once the demo was done, I got my friend Rose to help me write the
lyrics for the melodies I had. And then I finished the song.
Who did you work with on the single?
All the production, topline, mixing and mastering was done by me. My friend Rose helped me write
the lyrics.
Do you have any live shows coming up?
Not as of now but I’m definitely trying to get some shows to play.
What else can we expect in 2024?
I am actually producing two albums for two of my friends and also working on 2 EPs of my own. So
there’s gonna be a lot of music coming this year and I’m super excited for it.
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
Hopefully still producing for my friends and other artists and also on my stuff alongside vocal
production, mixing and mastering tracks from other artists.

Everything happens for a reason. Don’t worry, it will all fall into place.

USB, backup USB, my laptop, water, friends.
