I’d say indie pop with a slight soul influence
Give us a little bio about you.
Grew up playing in bad in my teens then went to university and began making my own music and never looked back. Over the years I’ve been writing constantly, developing my sound into what it is today. Currently I’m living in south west London but I spend as much time as possible in berlin where I mostly record.
What made you go into music?
I started out funnily enough in the school choir but aged around 14 I realised this wasn’t that cool so I started a band. Meanwhile learnt how to play the guitar and the saxophone.
Who are your influences?
They’re quite wide ranging, from Charles Bradley and Curtis Mayfield, to Bowie and prince and then more recent artists such as Frank Ocean and James Blake

You released your new single ‘Like I Don’t Know You’, tell us more about the single.
Like I don’t know you describes a tangled relationship where you no longer know who the person is who you’re with. Things and feelings have changed as did they and it ultimately has a huge impact on the dying relationship.
What is the meaning behind the single?
A relationship where the other person drifted away
What was the writing and recording process like?
Was great, really cathartic if I’m honest

Who did you work with on the single?
Wrote it with Marcus Brosch in Hamburg in a day and we finished the track really quick
Will we see a Music video for single ‘Like I Don’t Know You’, what can we expect from the creative process?
Yesss!!! It was filmed in Cornwall where my parents live and where I spend a lot of time. There’s several locations. One of those I’m singing in the water which was super hard as I could barely hear the track haha. and I almost froze to death
Will we see an EP or Album and if so, can you give us a teaser of what to expect?
100% towards October time. And can’t say too much but there’s a lot of songs 😉
Do you have any live shows or a tour coming up and if so let us know where we can catch you at?
No shows or tours confirmed just yet but making some live plans at the minute
What else can we expect in 2022?
Maybe another hair style. Had around 4 already this year
Will we see any collaborations and if so, can you tell us more about them?
No plans for any collabs. Had some requests but I just want to focus on making the best music possible myself first before collabs 🙂
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
Hopefully on a beach in the Caribbean. Haha nooo I would love to be working on album 2 by them, collaborating with amazing artists, touring the world and hopefully doing some meaningful music charity work along the way
