What is your name?
ANNALIA

What is your genre of music?
POP

Give us a little bio about you.
I am an LA based pop artist and songwriter, bringing you a genre of music that I like to call “organic pop.” I really love to include live instrumentation and I always make sure the lyrics are relatable and authentic.

Your released your new single ‘ Hold My Breath’ tell us more about it.
“Hold My Breath” is about taking a chance on believing that you deserve greatness and the vulnerability of the plunge into the unknown. While we mostly hear the phrase “I won’t hold my breath,” this song puts a positive spin on the saying; hoping that the first spark will be long and lasting, while also acting as a reminder to think the best of people.

What was the writing process like?
I wrote this one in Nashville with my producer, Bruce Wiegner, and the amazing Rikki Randall. I had the idea of the phrase, “hold my breath” because I had just met someone that I was really hoping would turn out to be as good as they seemed upon first impression. It flowed quickly from there and we spent all night cutting vocals!

What is the message you want listeners to take from the single?
The song has a positive affirmation attached to it. “Being open and receptive is my superpower.” I just want people to be reminded (and to remind themselves) that vulnerability is strength.

Where can we buy the single from?
iTunes + Amazon Music / Globally

I love to dance and cook!
