We last chatted about yout EP ‘Another Record Sleeve Ep’ earlier this year , how was the reaction.
Yeah the reaction was good, it’s got good radio play including BBC 6, BBC introducing and jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio.
Your now back with with a new EP ‘Royalties’ out in May, what can you tell us about it?
It was recorded in the motor museum in Liverpool with our friend James Mellor, it’s a different sound to our first one and we really like it!
How is different than your last release?
It’s a bit heavier I guess, it’s catchy. I think the lyrics play a big part in the songs on this EP.

Do you guys have any plans for a full length album?
One day we would love to do one definitely but no plans for the near future.
What made you go in to music?
I always wanted to play the drums and when I started learning I really enjoyed it! I heard drummers like Travis Barker (Blink-182), Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys) and Rick Buckler (The Jam)
Do you have any festivals you wil be playing this year?
We have some small Festivals lined up
Do you play any instruments?
I play the drums.
Who are your influences?
My influences are Travis Barker (Blink-182), Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys), Rick Buckler (The Jam), Gary Powell (The Libertines) and Colin Jones (Circa Waves).
If you could collaborate with one UK Artist or band who would it be and why?
Serge Pizzorno of Kasabian! The man just writes great tunes and I’m sure we could come up with a catchy beat or two!
if you could collaborate with one US artist or band who would it be?
Travis Barker, although we are both drummers we would find a way to make it work! He has worked on so many other projects which are all successful so I reckon we could make a fair go at it!
What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
What’s my age again – Blink-182
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Don’t just wait around for an opportunity, go out and get one!
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?
Just make music that you enjoy playing and listening to! Then you’ll always enjoy playing!
What quote or saying do you always stick by?
Winners never quit and quitters never win!
When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?
Cymbals, snare, bass pedal, stands and beer.
