Not at the moment
Your new single ‘Movies’ which is awesome has been released tell us more about it.

This song came to me after watching a favorite movie of mine and at the end I kept thinking “why can’t life be like the movie” and the song was built from there. I think it is a song that everyone can relate to. The feedback has been fun to know that so many people of all ages want that “Cinderella Story” too:)))
Did you work on it with anyone if so who?

YES! OH NO ØKTAPUS! They produced it and they gave me a lot of say in the process. We always have so much fun in the studio. They are always making me laugh and they are so comfortable to be around. They are absolutely amazing and can’t wait work on future songs with them.

What was the recording process like?

Any time you get to go into the studio and record a song is so exciting. I went into the studio with my catalog of songs I wrote and we talked about which song we wanted to record first. We all decided on Movies. We got the tracks started right away, edited the lyrics minimally, and then started recording. We were able to finish the vocals in one night and build the track the next few days to come.

How was the writing process for the song?

I wrote the song right when I finished high school. I knew that I loved it the moment it was finished.

Will we see an EP or Album at the end of the year or next year?

Yes! An EP is in the works.

You’ve performed in some great venues already, which has been your favorite?

I sang the National Anthem at the TD Garden a few years ago. It’s a whole different type of performance for sure. It is an honor and it is so important for our Veterans. I feel like I need to do well for them. So to sing such a song in a venue like the TD Garden was extra special.

Do you have any gigs or a tour in plan for the end of this year or start of next year?

I do not have any specific tour plans yet but hopefully soon! But I am continuing to play locally. We are focusing on finishing the EP first!

if so where will you be heading?

Hopefully EVERYWHERE:)

Do you play any instruments?

I am self taught on the keyboard! I’d definitely love to learn more to better myself!

Who are your influences?

I have so many but my top 3 would be Pixie Lott, Demi Lovato, and Ella Henderson. I love British music. Most of the music I listen to are from European artists. I also love Troye Sivan, Astrid S, Zara Larsson, Sia, and Ella Eyre. There are too many to chose from.

How do you get inspiration to write songs?

Honestly it depends. Sometimes I see a word that I love for a title and write from there. Sometimes I’m watching a TV show and start writing about the characters. It is random a lot of the times. I never write one song the same. I could write a verse first or a bridge. Most of the time I write the second verse first oddly enough. It’s really fun that the writing process is different every time because I never know what to expect out of the song until the very end.

Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?

I have big dreams so in 5 years I hope to see my dreams achieved and on a world tour traveling, singing, and happy 🙂

When you’re not doing music, what do you do?

When I’m not doing music I am either on my phone, doing school work, hanging with my family, or reading. I love spending time with my family and friends. Their support means a lot to me.

Where would your dream venue to play in your hometown?

THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD VENUES! I’d love to play at The Bank of America Pavillion, its an outside venue, or the TD Garden.

If you could collaborate with one UK Artists or Band who would it be?

Honestly I would love to collab with The Vamps. I love their music. They seem like so much fun to hang out with. Somebody To You is one of my favorite songs by them!

If you could collaborate with one US Artists or Band who would it be?

THE CHAINSMOKERS -I would love to be featured in one of their songs! They are so hot right now.

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?

Broken Arrow by Pixie Lott. She has always been a HUGE inspiration of mine. I heard one of her songs in a movie and I was instantly hooked. At the time Turn It Up was the only album she had out so I would listen to it on Youtube since I couldn’t get it on US iTunes. That song really inspired me to start writing and singing.

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?

Don’t be afraid to write a bad song. Songwriting was really tough for me to get into because I thought every song that I wrote was cheesy and people wouldn’t want to listen to what I had to say, but I was wrong. Now I try to write anything and everything that comes to mind and the rest can be worked on later. Also to just not be afraid in general. A lot of people have told me they wish that they had the courage to do what I’m doing and that really puts things into perspective so I try not to be nervous and not think about anything other than making my dreams a reality.

What would be your dream show to have your music played on?

wow that is a really tough question. I watch so many TV shows. For a show that is still running I would say Grey’s Anatomy. That show has amazing music. MTV also puts awesome music into their shows so I would say any one of their shows would be cool too. For a show that is not still on the air I would say One Tree Hill. Music was such a big part of that show so it would’ve been amazing to have a song on that show.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?

It takes so much time. Don’t think anything is going to happen over night because it’s a long process. I thought at 15 I would just get discovered. never understanding how much it takes and the work ethic you need. You have to keep fighting and trying because there are a million other people out there who want it just as much as you do. No is inevitable. Don’t get discouraged if you are rejected.

What quote or saying do you always stick by?

“Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game”-Babe Ruth (A Cinderella Story)

You get off a plane in your hometown,

1/ where is the first place you visit

my wonderful bed

2/ where is the first place you see Castle Island

3/ where is the first food place you go and what do you get : Dunkin Donuts and I get a nice Iced Coffee because I can say coffee is one of my favorite things 🙂

Where is one place in Boston you tell everyone to go to, if they’ve never been?

Boston Common. It is beautiful year round. The garden is beautiful in the summer and the Frog Pond (outdoor ice skating) is there in the winter! or go and try and catch a Red Sox game at Fenway Park in the summer. It’s an awesome experience!

When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?

1. phone

2. extra makeup

3. music

4. a pair of shoes to change out of (walking in heels are not my strongest suit)

5. WATER
