Im a singer/songwriter from California and I got signed to Tyme Records at 15.
What made you go in to music?
It was just a way to vent, and I thought it could benefit other people.

You are set to release your debut record, tell us more about the story behind the name ‘Bedhead Level 1’ .
I decided on BedheadPt1 for a couple of things:
– the album is a 2 piece set that we wanted to release on different days, around 6 months apart from each other.
-I was always in bed when i was writing.

Will you be touring this year?
I dont think i’ll be touring this year, but i have shows set for me.I’m trying to set up a tour with some cool artists around Jan or Feb. But we’ll see any opportunities that come my way and figure it out from there.
If So where will you be heading?
I want to tour national for the time being, but definitely would like to tour internationally and see the world.
Will you be releasing any videos with your new record, if so which tracks, can you tell us?
i’ll tell you one im definitely releasing, Dance All Night’. It should be coming out generally around the same time as the album.We should be doing some more, but I want it to be a surprise. ;P
Do you play any instruments?
I play guitar and piano and the ocarnia, I wanna learn the drums too but I wanna get better at guitar and piano first.
Who are your influences?
uh I guess sonically my music influence is Ne-Yo and Usher. I want to be a great musician though, like Michael Jackson.
How do you get inspiration to write songs?
I write my music as a way to vent.So usually if im going through something in my life I’ll just write about it and make it into a song. Doesnt have to be a bad thing,it could be a good thing. Like idk how to handle my emotion haha, so when im super happy ill write and when I’m down I write
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
In 5 years i see myself touring around the worldwith 3 albums out atleast, a nice car that doesnt break down on me all the time,and having already bought my parents dream house on a beach.
When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
im literallyat work from 8-5 on Mondays -Fridays and 9-5 on Saturdays, so just work all the time. I like to read, but usually listen to audiobooks instead because I dont get to much time to read.
I also like to write stories, like i want to be an author. I also want to get into acting but right now, I work and I play music.
Where would your dream venue to play in your hometown?
In my hometown? i guess the Savemart Centre. Since its the only real venue we have.
For anyone vistiting California,where would you reccommend them to go?
Cities would be Los Angeles or The Bay. I prefer LA though. The beaches there are to die for. I guess mueseums are cool too though. but definitely absolutely have to go to Yosemite. The national park is breathtaking all the time. im into nature though so, yeah.
if you could collaborate with one UK Artists or Band who would it be?
The only artists I can think of are Zayn Malik and Niall Horan. Oh and Adele but she out sings me in every way, so id rather write her a song to sing lmao.
If you could collaborate with one US Artists or Band who would it be?
H i guess if its just for me personally, Tech N9ne. Im a huge fan. I want him to rip bars on like a slow song of mine , It’d be so perfect.
What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
I honestly couldnt say. I love MJ growing up so probably like Dirty Diana or Billie Jean or something.
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
“do it because you love to do it, not because you have to do it .” and ” Just have fun with it”
I used to be really concerned with whar people would say about me or think about m, but my pops always told me that i didnt need to impress anybody, because I loved it. And as long as I
enjoyed what I loved, then i dont need to care what anybody thinks.
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?
Have fun with music, it shouldnt be taken so seriously to the point where you start resenting. Remember why you got involved with music and if you ever feel discouraged, look at where you started.
What quote or saying do you always stick by?
Lmao the quote that popped into my head immediately was ” Life is like a box of chocolates , you never know what your going to get.”

The set, the atmosphere,the lyrics,the crowd and the equipment
