The Manchester Duo BONES made up of Ben Jones and Kimberley Bo with a Acoustic/Upbeat genre.
Kicking the EP off with a track called ‘ Everything’s Alright’, Kimberley’s powerful vocals come straight through with the strums of Ben’s guitar throughout the whole track.Ben gravelly vocals the come through with a rap which it fits together and carry you through the song and a catchy song which you are able to sing along to but not get bored.
The backing track is a simple guitar strums which pieces the whole song beautifully.
The second track ‘ Devils Lair’ is a chilled track that seems to be personal to the duo and starts with a 10 second guitar solo. Ben then comes through with is low husky vocals.
Kimberley vocals also come through more modulated and when both singing together makes the vocals of the track more silvery.
With a solid beat giving the song a very tuneful and engaging rhythm that allows you to listen to the lyrics and understand that this is song that is close to them.
The third track is the name of the EP ‘Plasticine’ starts of with a very catchy guitar riff which automatically draws you in.
Ben and Kimberley ‘s vocals are softly spoken but still in a singsong feel and it carries throughout the whole EP.
Lyrics are very original and imaginative and tells you a story and shows the raw talent of their writing and vocals.
The fourth track ‘Ayva’ again shows the emotive writing side of Bone’s and still can still sound so amazing.
Both Ben and Kimberely vocals come through after the intro of the guitar intro, which sound soft and smooth, and finishes the whole EP perfectly.
The lyrics sound so close to the Duo and they really express it throughout the track. A very deep and meaningful lyrics that makes you feel what they sing about.
These two together are a Duo made of talent,creativeness and thats what is shown throughout this EP.
