How did you come up with the bands name?
We needed something that was easy to say and wasn’t already taken by someone else.
What is your genre of music?
Loud scratchy guitar a bit angry shouty but sweet and songy; funny. Catchy.

Four friends from Auckland City looking for a good time.
What made you go into music?
Hearing music early in life and thinking wowee what is this how can I get involved.
Who are your influences?
Pop music of pasts & presents, various strands of traditional & devotional music, weird old people who say strange things to you unprompted,various filmmakers & writers, our friends, families, parents, the general Cosmos.
Are you a signed band?
We’re signed in NZ to Flying Nun.
Your last release was in 2025 for your album ‘The Lord Is My German Shepherd (Time for Walkies)’, tell us more about the album and how it came about for you as a band.
We got some funding at the very end of 2023 which allowed us to book six days straight in a nice recording studio called the Lab in our hometown. We consolidated our new material and ended up recording thirteen songs, ten of which made the final cut.
Describe each track in two words and the album as a whole.
Whole album – we gave it a good nudge but we reckon we’ve got a better one in us.

It was democratic and mostly smooth.

New Single Hard Evidence OUT NOW
With the album release last year, what can we expect in 2026 and will we see music videos, collabs or anything in particular?
Touring the UK & Europe, a new single & music video on the 8th of May, plenty of shows in the Northern Hemisphere.
Do you have any live shows coming up and if so, what can we expect from your shows?
We’re doing a huge tour of the UK & Europe.

Hopefully we’d just get cast as ill patients so we wouldn’t have to do too much.
