Alyssa Marie, a country singer-songwriter from Nashville, Tn, is redefining what it means to be a modern artist. A talented multi- instrumentalist and self-sufficient producer, she takes pride in engineering and crafting her music from start to finish. Her original songs, rooted in personal life experiences, showcase a unique blend of heartfelt lyrics and rich, emotive vocals.
What made you go into music?
After seeing the Wizard of Oz when I was 2, I could not stop singing all the songs. My parents noticed and asked if I wanted to do piano lessons. I started classical piano and from there I never stopped!

I love Ella Langley, Kelsea Ballerini, and some classics like Peter Frampton, Eric Clapton, and more.

No, I am doing everything on my own!
You released a new single ‘Good Where I’m At’, tell us more about the song and the meaning behind it.
This song is reflective, grounded, and honest — it’s about slowing down, tuning out the noise, andfinding peace in where you are instead of constantly chasing what’s next.

What was the writing and recording process like?
I walked into my write with one of my favorite groups to write with, with the idea for the song, because it was something I’d been struggling with at the time. I felt like I was in constant competition. Once we all sat down and wrote this one, Iknew I had to record it in my home studio. I produce all my songs myself and I love doing it. This one was one of my favorites to produce so far!
Who did you work with on the song?
My writers were Ralston Wells, David Madras, and Michael Saleta. I co-produced it with Sebastian Belen and he did the mixing and mastering!

Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
In five years, I see myself playing tons of shoes and have released an album with all self-produced songs. I see myself doing this but at a higher level and working very hard to do what I love!

You never have to compare yourself to others, everyone’s at their own pace (hint: my song Good Where I’m At)
When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?
I can’t forget to change the capo, tune my guitar, introduce myself, guitar picks, and a microphone!
