How did you come up with the bands name?
It was a nickname that I got years ago after I bleached my hair, (Haley from coronation street) It started as Haley and over time became the Halez.
What is your genre of music?
Indie, Alternative Rock
Give us a little bio about you.
We formed in lockdown and began song writing for the first time. Our songs were composed using WhatsApp voice notes as we were not allowed meet in person to rehearse due to the restrictions. Our music has been described as electrifying, energetic and raw. I’d say it’s organic and sonically delicious.
What made you go into music?
I loved watching bands perform on TV when I was a kid. The brit pop movement was in full swing. Seeing the bright coloured guitars reflect under the studio lights along with the biblical tunes I was immediately drawn to musical addiction.
Who are your influences?
I Listen to a lot of different genres of music from Irish trad to contemporary rock. I’m probably most influenced by guitar bands like Oasis, Radio head, Rory Gallagher and stuff like that.
Are you a signed?
No we aren’t signed just yet, but we have been approached by an American label so exciting times ahead.
You released your latest single ‘Share Your World’, tell us more about the single and the meaning behind it.
Share your world was written about sharing your burdens with others and speaking out when you are struggling. A message of help to those experiencing difficulties with their mental health.

Epic symphony
What was the writing and recording process like?
I wrote the song on acoustic guitar and we put it together using on line rehearsals. We recorded old school with microphones on our amps and drums in studio. Eamon our drummer had the idea of an orchestra to add more emotion to the track. Billy Farrell our producer wrote the score and we used real strings in the studio rather then using programming software. All our songs are recorded traditionally keeping an organic sound. It was a great experience, I love being in a creative space.
Who did you work with on the song?
We recorded the song at Ballyrose media recording studio in Co Roscommon with Wayne Thorose engineering the track. The song was produced by Billy Farrell in Dublin and mastered by Pete Maher in London who has worked with the likes of u2 so we really got to work with some amazing people.
Will we see an EP or album and if so what can we expect from the album?
Yes there is an album in the pipeline. It’s going to be sonically very pure, edgy and raw. Lots of anthems and bangers with positive energy.
Do you have any live shows or a tour coming up or in planning, if so what can you tell us about it?
Yes we have a sold out show in Limerick in November, we are really looking forward to that. We like to get a reaction and blow the roof wherever we go. We are hoping to plan a tour after the release of our album.

What else can we expect in 2025?
More new music, maybe a single and definitely an album.
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
Hopefully working on our 3rd album and being able to tour our music around the world. That would be the dream.
