What made you go into music?
Well, It’s been a long road. I think becoming an artist and developing my sound and shaping it, Started when I was 6 years old. My grandpa, is an opera singer. He taught me, alongside my mom, to appreciate Music. He taught me breath control, he taught me pitch, Intonation. And I can’t thank him enough. He’s the reason I fell in love with my craft. But the real journey began nearing the end of 2021. Life can pass us by so quickly and regrets will pile up high. I had to decide what I wanted to do with my life in that moment, what do I love to do? What would I regret not doing as I grow older. And music, Music has always been there in my life, shaping it, Influencing the way I live my life. So, I decided right then and there. Music is my passion and I know I’ll regret not doing it in the future.

Who are your influences?
My influences tend to vary, it depends on who I’m listening to at the moment. My influences are “The Weeknd, Jack Harlow, Bad Bunny, Camilo, and Sebastian Yatra.”

Tell us more about your latest or upcoming release and what we can expect from it and the story behind it.
BUBALU, really stems from what I was feeling. I heard an upbeat melody in my head forming when I first heard the track and I immediately thought “How can I write a song about heartbreak using such a happy melody.” This song uses elements of pop mixed with a Latin Afro beat. It’s both in English and Spanish.  BUBALU is about a love that you lost, a love you still yearn for but no longer have. As the lyric says “Baby yo lo siento, yo me arrepiento” which translates to “Baby I’m sorry, I feel defeated.” Because she’s found another, while you’re still getting over her.
