What is  your names?
Cara Paige

What is your genre of music?
Pop/Rock

Give us a little bio about you.
Cara Paige, a 24-year-old singer/songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia, found a love for music early on and a voice through songwriting and a guitar. She started singing at 8, but it was when she got her hands on a guitar at 14 that everything clicked. She’s entirely self-taught, which has made her journey with music uniquely hers. “Red Flags,” her first song, was written at 14. By 17, she had the chance to record it professionally, marking the start of her journey into the music industry. Ten years into songwriting, her process is still evolving, fueled by a love for the craft that grows stronger every day. Music has been Cara’s emotional outlet, her way of understanding the world, and through her songs, she offers the same refuge to her listeners. Her goal is simple: to connect, to comfort, and to resonate with people who find pieces of their own stories in her lyrics. As Cara continues to write and release new music, reaching a broader audience remains a priority—not for the sake of numbers, but for the opportunity to share experiences, emotions, and moments that matter.

What made you go into music?
I’ve always loved singing, and when I was 14 I started playing the guitar. I was really inspired by Taylor Swift to start writing my own songs. After I saw her in concert for the first time, I came home and wrote my first song. I’ve been writing ever since and never want to stop.

Who are your influences?
Taylor Swift is my number one influence, but I also am influenced by Maisie Peters, Olivia Rodrigo, and Gracie Abrams.

Are you a signed artist?
I am not signed. I am 100% independent!

You released your latest Single ‘23’, tell us more about the single and the meaning behind the song.
‘23’ is a song I wrote about the pressure of being in your 20’s and navigating adult life. Being out of school and having a full-time job for the first time while also dating is really overwhelming and when going through all these emotions I put them into a song and that song is ‘23’.

Describe the track in two words.
Emotionally catchy.

What was the writing and recording process like?
The writing process for this song was pretty fast. This was one of those songs that pretty much wrote itself. I sat down on my bedroom floor and started writing down my thoughts and then started strumming a chord progression. The song just flowed out from there. The recording process was super fun. I recorded this song in Nashville at Ten7Teen Studios.

Who did you work with on the single?
I wrote the song myself and I worked with Justine Blazer for production. She produced, mixed, and mastered the single.

Can we expect a music video and if so tell us more about the making.
I am hoping to do a music video in the future! It hasn’t been filmed yet but I have a ton of ideas for the song.

Can we expect an Album or EP and If so, what can we expect form it?
I am working on my debut album. I’ve been working on this record for over a year now and I can’t wait for the world to hear it. It’s really special to me and something I’m really proud of. It’s a lot of life experiences and things I’ve been learning through my 20’s. It’s pop/rock oriented and I’m making the official announcement really soon!

Do you have any live shows coming up?
I am working on getting some live shows set up so stay tuned!

Let us know where we can get tickets if so.
I will post ticket information on my social media pages and my website!

What else can we expect in 2024?
My debut album will be out in September. The second single comes out on July 12th and I can’t wait for people to hear it because it’s so different than the stuff I’ve done in the past. I am also working on a fun and catchy holiday track that will be out later this year!

Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
I see myself touring and continuing to release music. I want to be on the road and in stadiums where my fans are screaming my lyrics back at me.

What quote or saying do you always stick by?
I always say that everything happens for a reason. It helps me get through life and understand that even if things don’t go my way, it happened for a reason.
