I was born in Makassar, Indonesia. I’m 24 years old this year, I’m a student, I love music, I love writing, I like to dance in the crowd
What made you go into music?
To be honest, I don’t have a specific reason why I finally jumped into the music industry, but there was one time, when one of my friends told me that I have potential to be a singer. Since then, I’ve been trying to make my dreams come true slowly. And yes, until now, I don’t really like labeling myself as a singer, because I’m way too far from that word. An ordinary person who loves to sing fits me perfectly.

You released your new latest Single ‘I’ll Be Waiting’, tell us more about the single and the meaning behind the song.
I’ll be Waiting is a song where I’m hoping everyone will be patient to get what they want. Basically, this is the same old cliche from love stories, where you wanted to be with someone but you didn’t even know what their feelings towards you were, like, you just wanted to wait until you got their answers.

What was the writing and recording process like?
I wrote this song when my ex broke up with me, and at that time, I’m forcing myself to keep waiting for her, so I expressed my feelings in some kind of poem. I tried to harmonize it, and find the right chords, and finally made it into proper music. I made a demo, only using guitar, and handed it to my producers, and they said, “oh I think it’ll be good if we add some other instruments!” and yeesss. There you go, “I’ll be Waiting” was created.

My producers, Sekar Astiari and Tabitha Atmodjo.
We are also expected to see a couple more singles before your EP, what can you tell us about the inspiration behind these.
Ummm.. The EP basically tells about my own experiences. Where it talks about 5 stages of grief that I went through in my personal relationship; denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and finally accepting to let them go. I faced these stages within my own relationship, and each track will translate to these phases of grief.

Currently no, but we’re hoping that probably in a few months

What else can we expect in 2024?
More exciting things are coming, I’m sure. I’m hoping to go on tour someday hopefully, so that I can share my stories personally to my audiences.
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
Hopefully by then I’ve released a couple albums. I’ve always wanted to travel, so I hope I can have an international tour as well, living my musician dream.

“What goes around, comes around” is my kind of everyday reminder.

Their faces, the experience, singalong, the nervousness before singing, things that i’ve been practicing.
