What is the band’s name? 
Everything But The Everything

How did you come up with the bands name? 
Daydreaming on a sunny Oakland afternoon while listening to Everything But The Girl. 

What is your genre of music? 
Dark alternative, Post punk. 

Give us a little bio about you. 
I started playing music in middle school and have been involved in music my whole life as mostly a bass player but began to dj house music and become a full fledged music promoter once I arrived in San Francisco. 

What made you go into music? 
I’m a dreamer and when I hear bands crush it, I want to emulate that. 

Who are your influences? 
Depeche Mode, Billy Idol, The Cure 

Are you a signed?
No

You released your new single ‘Never Said’, tell us more about the creative process and the inspiration behind it. 
The songs are are created the same way. We begin with the bassline and start adding layers. It’s the singers that take the songs to new heights and why I enjoy working with a variety of vocalists. 

Describe the track in two words. 
Dark, driving. 

What was the writing and recording process like? 
It’s standard operating procedure these days. The fun is when we all get in the studio to finalize the parts since it’s usually just Rex and myself that work out the kinks. 

Who did you work with on the single? 
Will We see a music video for Never Said and if so what could we expect from the creative process/ story of the video. 
No video’s. The price is too high for a real music production to take on right now.

What else can we expect in 2022? 
To play some more live shows to close out the year and get the new batch of songs ready for the 2023. 

Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years? 
Same place, doing the same things but with more experience.

When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget? 
1. Don’t drink too much before we hit the stage. 
2. I need three picks on hand to play with. 
3. Have fun. 
4. Personally thank everyone who came out. 
5. Help the other bands load and unload their gear.
