Give us a little bio about you.
Chris Day is a singer/songwriter guitarist from Philadelphia, Pa. He has toured the world bringing his high-energy show to audiences, first with legendary Philly act “Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers” (Sony/Columbia Records) and then as a solo artist with his own band. He recently teamed up with Grammy-winning producer Joe “The Butcher” Nicolo to record a new album called “HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT”. Chris has many years of touring experience worldwide. Having played hundreds of venues from night clubs to arenas and stadiums, along with television performances on David Letterman, Arsenio Hall, American Music Awards and MTV. Opening for many legendary acts along the way including: David Bowie, Robert Plant, Rod Stewart, The Pretenders, CSN, Bryan Adams, Eddie Money, Foghat, Kansas, The Romantics, The Ramones, Hall and Oates, Chicago, The Smithereens, The Hooters, Robert Hazard, Squeeze and many more.
What made you go into music?
Deeply rooted need to connect with my estranged father.

What was the writing and recording process like?
I was writing from the seeds of ideas, riffs and melody, walked in with a loose plan, went with my gut. As for recording, Producer Joe Nicolo and myself….. having laughs and doing occasional work or like me driving someone crazy for a few hours a day depending on who you ask.
Who did you work with on the single?
It was a solo writing venture with my inner self.
Will we see a music video for ‘The Lie or The Truth’ and if so what can we expect from the creative process?
Our video follows me floating through Central Park NYC then molesting a guitar.
Will we see an EP or Album and if so, what can we expect from it?
The album is titled ”Hidden In Plain Sight” it will be released on 9/16/22. Raucous, but thoughtful.
