Sarah Louise loves to entertain and has always been a singer from an early age and has a passion for writing and being creative with her life experiences and making people smile. she wears her heart on her sleeve and loves meeting new people to share her musical journey with. Sarah Louise loves being on stage performing as that is where she feels at home.
What made you go into music?
I have always had in my heart and me and my grandad always shared special songs together and also my dad played music every day. even when I was a baby, my mum said I used to bounce in time to radio gaga by queen in my bouncer!
Who are your influences?
Whitney Houston, Shania Twain, Jo Dee Messina, Lauren Alaina, Miranda Lambert, Fleetwood mac and the chicks… so many to list to be honest!

You are set to release your new single ‘my beating heart’, tell us more about the single
Iit came out of nowhere! i think i got really inspired by a recent show in London to express more personal experiences in my songs and give them a little bit more passion and energy. I was talking to a friend who was telling me about the feelings he had for someone that he didn’t know what to do about, then i wrote a song for him and added in a few on my own thoughts. i then shared it with another friend who helped me change a few of the lyrics about and she absolutely loved it. everyone i played it to acoustically thought it was my best ever song that I sang with so much passion and to get it recorded!
What is the meaning behind the single?
The unexplainable emotions you feel about someone when you cannot stop thinking about them and they are taking over your heart and mind.
What was the writing and recording process like?
I played the song on an Instagram live and my producer just happened to be listening in and was amazed and said “Sarah i will record this for you as a gift I love it that much” he was impressed and said “finally you are using country chords!” I went to the studio and explained the type of sound that i wanted for the track with slide guitar and a real country upbeat festival singalong vibe and mark really did create this for me. i love the instruments used on the track and i have never been so excited to share one of my songs before.

Will we see a music video for single ‘my beating heart’, what can we expect from the creative
process?
This is an interesting point as currently running a competition for 2 people to star in the video who have pre-ordered the song and the prize draw is the day of release 29.7.22 and I cannot wait to put it all together. I still have no idea where this will be filmed but hopefully someone will win it from the UK or this we be very expensive to film! ha ha
Will we see an ep or album and if so, can you give us a teaser of what to expect?
I am currently working on another special song to be released in September and it is one that i worked on with audience members on a live stream. i was in floods of tears writing this song so i cannot wait to finally share the next one it is very close to my heart.
Do you have any live shows or a tour coming up and if so let us know where we can catch you at?I have a show coming up on the day of my release 29.7 at a brand-new bar in my hometown of Colchester Essex called vacay and I will be the first to sing there so it will be very special, I also have lots of public gigs in august in Hadleigh Suffolk, Kelvedon Essex. I am also planning a London show in September and a Nashville trip this year. the up-country music awards are going to be in Dudley 24th September where I have 3 nominations and cannot wait for this event it is going to be such a fun night spending time with fellow musicians and audience members who are now my friends.
What else can we expect in 2022?
Lots more shows sharing my original music and maybe a couple more songs that i have to share and not patient enough to wait ha ha. also, a lot more song writing for others too and being able to create the song for them they had always dreamed about singing.
Will we see any collaborations and if so, can you tell us more about them?
I have been writing with a few musicians and don’t want to share any names yet but they have really helped me come out of my shell musically and they totally inspire me to be a better and more heartfelt musician. hopefully we can record something together really soon!
Where do you see yourself now in 5 years?
At the grand ole opry singing ‘feet on the ground’ and every audience member has a yellow ribbon and a massive smile on their face.

The people that mind don’t matter and the people that matter don’t mind
When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?
The lyrics (but i always do ha ha) no but on a serious note i cannot forget :
1. to be present in the moment with my audience
2. enjoy everything even the mistakes
3. make people smile and encourage them to dance always
4. sing like it will be my last time
5. treat everyone at my gig the same ,no matter what the venue is like or audience size as they still made the effort to come and see me.
