Are you signed?
Totally independent as of this moment.

You released your new single ‘Worth It’, tell us more about the single.
‘Worth It’ was the first time we consciously set about making a track that was totally electronic. Lyrically and instrumentally, it’s a pretty cute track, but we didn’t want that to comprise the energy or the weird unique elements that we feel like we can bring to our music. It was also the song that opened our minds to the fact that we didn’t need to constrain our writing to certain sounds and genres, because we’re capable of pushing ourselves to write in different styles.

What is the meaning behind the single?
The track is about dating somebody for the first time, and realising that although there are things that really annoy you about them, all in all, they are worth the effort.

What was the writing and recording process like?
It was a really fun actually, we wrote and recorded the song over a series of nights, just doing the vocals and adlibs in Carwyn’s room. We added piano later (which levelled the track up quite a bit) and was recorded at uni. We have loads of great memories from that time, and it was really important to have that as a band. Like we mentioned, it opened our eyes to a whole other world of sounds that we could use.

Describe the track in two words.
Worth It.

Who did you work with on the single?
The track was entirely written, recorded, produced, engineered, mixed, mastered, released and promoted by the individuals known as Mucky Wednesday (us).

Will we see a Music video for ‘Worth It’, what can we expect from the creative process?
Not until someone agrees to fund our antics/creative endeavours, but it will be pretty cool.

Do you have any live shows or a tour coming up and if so let us know where we can catch you at?
We’re actually in the process of booking shows at this very moment, however if you wanna catch us live, it’ll most likely be in Stoke or Manchester.

What else can we expect in 2022?
In Last Place With 0 Points, It’s Mucky Wednesday as always. That’s all we really have to say at this moment.

Will we see any collaborations and if so, can you tell us more about them?
We actually do have a song with w.e.s.m.0 from the American band TURTLE PARK, which you’ll all be seeing at some point. We’re very gassed about it as you can imagine.
