Give us a little bio about you.
I’m from a little, quaint town called Knutsford in Cheshire and I’m currently studying Popular Music at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. All things Pop, I love to portray my bubbly, light-hearted, positive personality through my songs with infectious hooks and a natural energetic feeling. I want to portray emotive, meaningful lyrics with a happy perspective to help people smile, sing and dance! Away from the music arena, I enjoy walks in the countryside with my cockapoo Benji and I love to play golf.
What made you go into music?
I discovered my love for music at a young age at school when I would sing my heart out at assembly to the school hymns (which unashamedly stuck with me through my college years)
I loved it when our Music teacher would give us a picture and tell us to pound the piano keys to recreate how the picture made us feel; I believe it’s a huge reason for my creativity and musicality today! I joined every choir and musical co-curriculum activity at school and took up singing, piano and clarinet lessons. It influenced me greatly and helped me to gather and develop my song writing ideas, playing skills and kickstart my musical journey.
Who are your influences?
I am inspired by a wide array of different artists from lots of different musical genres but I would say I am influenced by artists such as David Guetta, Dua Lipa and more recently Griff.

You released your new single ‘Myself’, tell us more about the single.
Yes, I released my debut single ‘Myself’ on the 3rd of June! It’s an energetic and empowering anthem about self-worth. The track emphasises that no matter who you are, you don’t need anybody else to make you feel happy or loved, you are enough in your own right. This catchy, upbeat tune is all about being courageous and growing to love your own company, it’s a song with meaningful lyrics yet portrayed through a summer anthem for people to sing and dance to the track!
What is the meaning behind the single?
I co-wrote the song last summer when many of my friends only had one topic of conversation and that was “what’s your relationship status” as if it’s all that matters. Many of them were in poor, unhealthy relationships but were too scared to end them for fear of being alone. I wanted to write a song about not settling for less or lowering standards just because you’re single. You shouldn’t have to be in a relationship to feel happy or loved as you already have what it takes to be fearless.
What was the writing and recording process like?
I wrote this song with a co-writer in America via zoom. It was during the pandemic, so thankfully we were very used to zoom, and it worked well. Lots and lots of audio files flew across from the U.K. to America continuously….it was a fun process and worked surprisingly seamlessly!!

Who did you work with on the single?
I worked with one other musician – Fabio Campedelli, a talented musician who co-wrote with me and produced the song.

Yes, you can expect to see a music video, I’m currently working on one now.
Will we see an EP or Album and if so, can you give us a teaser of what to expect?
I don’t have an EP or Album planned yet but you can expect to see more singles!! I look forward to building up to an EP. It’s exciting and I can’t wait.

I don’t have any live shows as an original artist planned yet, for now I’m writing more songs and creating a band.

I don’t have any collaborations planned for my next two singles but I love working with other musicians and I guess this collab didn’t work out too badly right? 😉
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
Touring the world performing with backing singers, backing dancers; full dance choreographies to my songs, glitter balls, confetti…you name it – putting on jam-packed gigs for my fans and consistently creating more music!! Dream big right?!
What quote or saying do you always stick by?
I’ve always been a positive re-affirmations kinda girl so I have several quotes and sayings that I stick by and believe in. The ones which are actually on my laptop screensaver (I know) are ‘be the best version of you’ and ‘be the girl who decided to go for it’
When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?
My water bottle, my microphone, deep breaths, lip gloss and smile!
