Give us a little bio about you.
I was born in Brazil and reborn in LA. My soul belongs here in the city of angels and I love all kinds of art! I’ve done it all: dancing, acting, painting, writing, you name it, I’ve tried it! I love writing songs and singing them! I love giving life to my music!
What made you go into music?
I started off as an actor and I used to think that for me to become a complete artist, I’d have to at least sing a little bit… I started taking my singing lessons and out of a sudden I realized I’ve always been a singer first, then an actor second. So I focused all my energy into music as I’ve always kinda done since a little kid, I just hadn’t realized that before! But to go full time as a singer was just in 2017 after I lost my dad. I saw how short life really is to not live what you want to live! So I started releasing songs professionally, first with my EP ‘Just Feelings’ then with ‘Last Goodbye’ followed by my debut album ‘Life’. So I can say I’ve always been into music, I just needed a little push to really go into it and make it my career!
Who are your influences?
I’m a huge Selena Gomez’s fan! She’s my number one idol for sure! It’s not only about her music though, it’s about who she is and what she represents… Which is kindness and love. I also am really inspired by Mika, Ariana Grande, Lil Was X, Troye Sivan, Halsey, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry… The list can go on and on forever!
Are you signed?
Getting signed by a major record label has always been a dream of mine! But because I’m really a hands on kinda person, I decided I can have my best career regardless of that! So I am signing myself to my own record label now! And hopefully in the future I can help other artists like me!
You released your new single ‘Flowers’, tell us more about the single.
Flowers is truly a love letter to myself! It’s me singing about my self love, about how I love all parts of me! The beautiful, the ugly, the thriving, the trying, and all in between… I love me! I love me all the time! It’s also about my connection to the Spirit, to God, to nature, to my inner being. It’s about me loving myself and living my life in the most loving and magical and present way! It’s about me!
What is the meaning behind the single?
Hahaha! It is a self love anthem that I sing about not only my love for myself, but how I see life as well! How I appreciate living and loving!
What was the writing and recording process like?
I love how spontaneous it is for me to write songs that become my favorites ever! Flowers came to me a little over a month after a really emotional breakup, I had just bought myself some flowers (white roses to be specific) and I was admiring them in the kitchen when all of a sudden I realized that I had never written a song about flowers! And I’ve always loved flowers! So I went to the little studio/office I had at the time and I started playing with the keyboard… Two seconds later I had chosen the chords and the song literally just happened! After that day I would always come back to Flowers just because! This song helped me get happy if I was sad, it helped me feel loved if I wasn’t, it helped me get even happier if I was already happy… Flowers became so naturally my favorite song in the Universe! So when I started thinking about my new album, I knew Flowers had to be the lead single… It also naturally became the title of the album! It all just makes sense to me!

Who did you work with on the single?
I was talking to Jordan (Hi5music) after he interviewed me for his podcast and I just knew it that it could be him the one to help me give life to Flowers, so I just asked him and he was excited about it since day 1! It’s been the most fun ever working on it!
Will we see a Music video for ‘Flowers’, what can we expect from the creative process?
You can watch it now!!! I really wanted the music video to be as simple as possible because that’s what it is about: you loving yourself while living your magical life! So I’m really proud and happy about the music video because you can see how free I am! You can see how much fun it is for me to love all parts of me! And you can do the same too! (:
Will we see an EP or Album and if so, can you give us a teaser of what to expect?
OMG! YESSSS!! Now you know already that the album is also called Flowers! I think that’s enough for now, lol! Hahahaha ok, ok… I will tell you a little more! This album is really about love, duality, faith, romance and fun! I can say there’s another single to be released before I drop the album! And I’m really excited about it!!! Let’s fully enjoy Flowers (the single) for now! There’s a cute surprise I’ll be realizing soon for the song!

I wish I had something to officially confirm to you right now! But nothing I can say for sure… Hopefully soon!
What else can we expect in 2022?
You can expect more magical and iconic music from me! You can expect my dream album coming to life! And you can expect having a lot of fun while with me! Either through my music, my videos… But specially with the album!
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
Oh boy! I don’t really know! Hopefully married, with a kid or two, with enough money to help me and my family and my friends and people around the world… With more iconic albums out! More music videos! More music! A collab with Selena Gomez! So many beautiful possibilities!!!
What quote or saying do you always stick by?
BE YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!! I’ve always said that since I was a teenager.

Water, my cellphone, my ID, vocal warm up and a positive mind!
