INTRODUCING BLUES INSPIRED POP SINGER-SONGWRITER ‘ADEM DALIPI’. WE GOT A CHANCE TO HAVE A CHAT TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT WHO HE IS, NEW MUSIC AND WHERE YOU CAN FOLLOW HIS JOURNEY!

No description available.

Introduce yourself: What is your name? What is your genre of music? And give us a little bio about you.
My name is Adem Dalipi, and I’m a blues-influenced Pop artist. My journey in music began when I was 9, where my school music teacher ended up calling my mom to let her know that I had an ear for music. That was when I got my first guitar and realized music was my thing. As time went on I taught myself how to sing, write my own songs, and produce my own tunes. At 15 I was reached out to audition for American Idol, where I was awarded the Golden Ticket from Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan.

What made you pursue music?
I always had a random draw towards music since I was really little. No one in my family ever did music, so being the first was honestly just an inspiration from my own goals to get good at guitar. As I learned new things my goals kept growing which helped continue my inspiration.

Who are your influences?
I think my overall biggest influences would have to be John Mayer for guitar playing and style, Ed Sheeran on songwriting, and Jimi Hendrix along with Stevie Ray Vaughan on guitar playing. Currently, though, I’ve been getting influenced a lot by Mac Ayres, Palace, and Bruno Major.

What is the meaning behind ‘Nothing I Wouldn’t Do’?
Nothing I Wouldn’t Do is a take on jazz with a heavy pop influence. Nothing I Wouldn’t Do is based around falling into a love that you would do anything to continue. From the moment you meet that person, you instantly knew they were the one that you would “walk a thousand miles” to be with.

What was the writing and recording process like? Did you work with anyone on the track?
The song is heavily based around the chord progression, which really gave off a feel-good vibe. It’s the type of song to get you moving, with a rhythmic backbeat and catchy hook. While I was writing the tune, the chorus came naturally, and I knew I wanted something that would push my vocals, which led to me singing the name of the song, instantly loving the direction I was going in. Once I demo’d the track, I got to go out to OC Hit in California and record the track apart of my EP.

Will we see a music video for ‘Nothing I Wouldn’t Do’ anytime soon?
There will not be a music video for Nothing I Wouldn’t Do, but stay tuned for a music video in the new year 😉

You just released your new single ‘Nothing I Wouldn’t Do’ – how would you describe it in two words?
Good vibes

Do you have any live shows or a tour coming up and if so let us know where we can catch you at?
I currently am working on lining up shows, which I will update everyone on my Instagram @ademdalipi and website https://ademdalipi.com

What else can we expect at the end of 2021/ Early 2022 for Adem Dalipi? Will we see an EP or Album in the future? And if so, what can we expect from it?
I’m really excited to be having Nothing I Wouldn’t Do and Empty Promises that are released as part of my anticipated EP ‘After The Party’ that will be out at the beginning of next year! The EP really showcases my different influences all in one spot, and will have another music video to tie into it that I’m excited for everyone to see 🙂

Where do you see yourself in five years?
I’m hoping in 5 years to be doing tours around the US, in the studio writing and producing more of my own tracks, and sharing those songs with all of my fans! I’m also hoping to move out of Illinois by then, and go somewhere either in Tennessee or somewhere that has more of a music scene.

What quote or saying do you always stick by?
“I’m singing what I want to sing based on the emotion of what that day feels like. That’s what comes out of my mouth and guitar. That impacts people.” – John Mayer
