What got you into music?
At 11 I remember thinking about how songs made me feel, how I couldn’t compare anything else in the world to the way it made me feel. I always have felt this strong pull to music. It would always fill in the gaps that words would leave empty. And what was weird to me was that not everybody felt that way, so I knew what I had was special.
Who are your influences?
Pretty much anything and everything. I draw a lot from the 80’s, as well as from artists from now, like Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber! Basically anything that catches my ear, I wanna try and use it as an inspiration.
You recently released your single, ‘The Reason’. Tell us about it, what’s the meaning behind it?
I knew that I was going to break up with my girlfriend at the time, and I felt so guilty knowing that I was going to be the reason for her pain, or the reason she can’t sleep at night, and so on. So in a way I wrote this to kind of let go of my guilt. It sucks because sometimes you don’t have a choice but to be a bad guy, even when it’s the last thing you wanna be.

What else can we expect in 2020 and early 2021?
New music, hopefully if COVID ends first quarter next year some shows finally! I miss playing in front of people! I miss that connection!
Where do you see yourself in 5 Years?
I want to be able to tour internationally, and get to the biggest stages I can. I don’t ever want to stop until I know I’ve spread my love and message to everyone I possibly can.
Is there a quote or saying you always stick by?
Be patient. I always give this out as advise, but even I have trouble listening to it haha!
