Give us a little bio about you.
I am a singer songwriter from New Zealand, cooking a new wave of Soul, Pop & RnB. I bring an introspective writing style while still delivering a relatable outward narrative. I’ve always been a story teller and I believe that the lived experiences felt in my music connect listeners with my story and their own.

What made you go in to music?
it was a natural progression. I’ve wanted to be a singer since I was 6 years old. So I guess I’m just living out that dream I’ve had since then.

Nope, Independent and loving it

You set to release your debut single ‘ Stay In The Night’, tell us more about the single.
I’ve pieced together a story through a collection of songs I’ve written. Stay in the night is the first instalment for this project.

What is the meaning behind the Single?
Stay in the night is the all too familiar story of being with someone and wanting to remain in a time or a moment – not wanting it to end. A direct love song laying down the emotions we all feel, no matter what surrounds us in the time.

Yes, Most definitely

Do you have any online shows coming up?
There are a few in the works, Still yet to be confirmed.

What else can we expect in 2020 and Early 2021?
More music. I want this song to se the tone for what’s to come

Do you have any collaborations coming up with any up coming artists?
This first project is just me but Im looking forward to working with some talented friends of mine.

I’m always open to create if things align and work in well with what I’m trying to achieve. Just shoot me a DM and I guess we can just go from there

Do you play any instruments?
I play guitar and a little bit of keys..

Who are your influences?
My family have played a massive role in influencing me.

How do you get inspiration to write songs?
Songs writing for me is like therapy, every song I write helps me heal. I draw on my past experiences good and bad but also tend to write whatever I’m going through in the present moment.

Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
I see myself connecting with more and more people through music.

When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
When I’m not singing or creating music I love to spend time with people who genuinely make me happy.

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Follow your dreams.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?
Be true to yourself, write what you feel and create something you love.

Where in your hometown is a must go to visit?
My whole hometown is a must go. Whakatane produced ( FUCK- AH- TAANII) is absolutely beautiful.
