I like to call it Pop/Rock/Folk

Give us a little bio about you.
Growing up in Las Vegas, NV, Camden was surrounded by music. His parents urged him to pick up the guitar and he fell in love with playing and the art of writing. Camden Has released an album titled, “Outside The Lines, an EP, “The Space Between” and various singles. Camden continues to write and release new music!

What made you go into music?
I grew up in a musical household. We would always go to concerts and I was just exposed from a young age. I decided pretty early on that music is what made me happy.

Are you a signed artist?
I am not signed, completely independent!

You released your single ‘One Love’; tell us more about the single.
One Love is song that is all about positivity. Every single person in the world is going through something together right now. It is us against Covid-19. By working together we can get through it. One Love is supposed to give the message that, “It’s not about You, Its not about me, Its about WE.” We can get through anything with a little bit of Love and Positivity.

What is the meaning behind ‘One Love’.
We all need positivity and love. We are all in this together and we need to show it. At the end of the day, we are better together.

Good Vibes

What was the writing process like?
The writing process was smooth. My friends TJ Simpson and Tyler Bank decided we wanted to write an upbeat positive song and that’s exactly what happened.

What was the recording process like?
The recording process was awesome. We record in the room next door. My friends and I were just recording sounds and having a great time. There was never a dull moment.

Who did you work with on the Single?
I recorded the song with my roommate Adam Sickler. He’s a very talented engineer and producer. We recorded it in my house and were trying to be experimental with sounds. My other roommate Stephen Hopkins played the bass guitar and I wrote it with my friends Tyler Bank and T.J. Simpson.

What else can we expect in 2020?
You can definitely expect new music and new content. I have a lot in the works. As for live shows, I think we may have to wait until 2021.

Do you have any collaborations coming up with any up coming artists?
I have a side project collaboration with my friend Stefan T. We call ourselves “Us.” It is an electronic meets folk type project. We should be releasing new music pretty soon!

Would you be up for collaborations if other musicians wanted one with you?
Yes, I’m always up for experimentation and working with others! I love working on new things!

Do you play any instruments?
I primarily play the guitar, but also play the piano, drums, and bass among a few other random ones

Who are your influences?
I’m influenced by a number of people and artists. The Rolling Stones have always been at the top of my list. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, John Mayer, and Nick Drake to name a few others.

How do you get inspiration to write songs?
Inspiration comes from all over. Usually, it comes from personal experiences, the people around me and whatever happens to be going on in the world at the time. If something makes me feel a certain way, I will get some kind of inspiration.

Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
In 5 years I hope to still be creating music and inspiring people to follow their own dreams. I’ll still be learning my craft and working to improve. I hope that a few more people will have heard my music.

When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
If I am not doing music, I like to be outdoors. I enjoy running, camping and cooking food on the grill!

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
Jumping Jack Flash by The Rolling Stones was the song that got me in front of a crowd of people. I played the song in front of my 5th grade class for a talent show and kept going from there.

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
B.B. King once told to “Stay in school” I really took it heart.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?
I would say to keep being themselves and keep searching for what makes them undeniably individual.
