What is your names?
My name is FRNDS AS CMPNY

What is your genre of music?
My style of music Is indie electro/pop

Give us a little bio about you.
I have always lived in North London and have been writing all my life, making music just for the love of it. So I can tell different stories or visions. I studied drama and performing arts at university and my taste in music has always been vastly eclectic. I have a pet kitten named Choji (butterfly) in Japanese. Also I am a huge manga/anime fan.

What made you go into music?
I decided to go into music cause it is always what I have done. Even when I wasn’t pursuing a career in it. It is what I love

Are you a signed?
No I am an independent artist.

You released your latest single ‘White Flag ‘, tell us more about the single.
White Flag is my first single. It is a song that looks into the soul. The honest naked truth of relationships. The ying and yang of being human. The emotions we toil with. Do we fight or do we give in? In fact the whole EP plays along with this concept and more.

What is the meaning behind ‘White Flag’?
White Flag is a surrender. The point where you have had enough. Everyone/everything has their breaking point. We often forget that about synthetic or natural things

Describe the track in two words.
Two words describe the song I would say: Cold truth

Will we see a music video for the track and if so when?
I would love to do a video for all my releases whether big or small. So sooner or later yes.

Who did you work with on the single?
To make the song. Me myself and I.

Do you have any shows coming up?
Currently no shows until I release more of my songs which I am not wasting time on. Just want to build my fan base first but I can’t wait to perform. It’s what I do best.

If so where will you be heading?
If I did perform anywhere in the world. I want my music to be world wide

What else can we expect in Early 2020?
This year I was releasing 2 EP’s and maybe some songs in between but my next song Who killed paradise? Should be coming out in a maybe a few wks. Note: the title extremely fitting to what’s going on. Somehow the whole EP is geared that way.

Do you have any collaborations coming up with any up coming artists?
Sadly I have no collaborations. Although I have songs with artists but no one who is out here. None the less amazing voices.

Would you be up for collaborations if other musicians wanted one with you? and who would they have to contact?
I would love to collaborate with other artists and musicians. It’s what makes the world go round. That’s how the best music is made.
They could contact me: at info@friendsascompany or Facebook.

Do you play any instruments?
I play a little guitar, drums and piano. Just enough to get by and make my music.

Who are your influences?
Wow! Influences. I love songs by Frances and the lights, Oh wonder, Dave, Ella Mai, Kanye West, HAIM, Childish Gambino, Tyler the creator, Billie Eilish, LOURDE, 6lack even going back to 80’s tracks or Alan Parsons project, James Taylor. Just good stories or vibes. I’m allowing myself not to get carried away into the other songs I’m into. It will be a long list.

How do you get inspiration to write songs?
Inspiration just comes from watching the world go by. Peoples lives. My life at times. Situations.

Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
In 5 years I’m touring, people are singing my songs. Or at least no my name and a few songs lol.

When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
Ooooh! I am a gamer too. On the rare occasion I’m not making music. Games, anime and sometimes a spot of tennis. 😂

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
Honestly none really but I did like when Kanye did 808 album and artists like Childish Gambino, Tyler the creator, l or even before that NERD blended genres to make great songs

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Best advice: not good enough, don’t like it 😂
Best advice: Is to keep writing and working on your craft. No one can see your vision but you. You have to show it to them first.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?
