Texas girl. Half country. Half pop. All soul.

What made you go into music?
I love performing. I love getting to see an audience get into it and let loose and smile. There’s nothing like it.

Currently Independent.

You released your new single ‘Like I Like Me’, tell us more about the single.
It’s all about lovin’ yo self!! Its release was set for Valentines Day as a self-love promotion

What is the meaning behind ‘Like I Like Me’.
As a single 20-something, I’ve been guilty of falling in “like” quite regularly, while dating. Like I Like Me champions the idea of setting some priorities in the dating game, and also being in “like” with yourSELF. Cause, no matter how much you like a person, if they’re treating you poorly, it’s time to activate your self-like and move on.

Describe the track in two words.
Sassy FUN.

What was the writing process like?
It was written with my friend Adam Sickler. I came in with this doo-oppy melody and a recent break up story and we ran with it. He put a killer guitar part to it and we took a lot of time together to find the write hook. Eventually we got it and out popped “Like I Like Me.”

What was the recording process like?
We recorded it in stages! The demo was recorded in our friends’ bedroom at an apartment complex in Nashville. Adam produced the rest at his house. When I decided to release it, my friend Kevin Joyce laid some drums on the demo and my friend Casey Wood mixed and mastered it at his studio.

Who did you work with on the Single?
Adam Sicker (producer and co-writer), Kevin Joyce (drummer), and Casey Wood (mixer and masterer).

Will we see a music video for the track?
Yes! Set to release in June 2020.

Will we see an EP or Album this year?
Yes again! Set to release in September!

Do you have any shows coming up?
Absolutely. Full band shows coming up on March 17th at The Local at 8:30pm and on April 30th at Live Oak at 8:30pm!

If so where will you be heading?
Staying in Nashville with Nashville fam!

What else can we expect in Early 2020?
Lots of videos talking about what stemmed the singles that have been released and their creation process.

Do you have any collaborations coming up with any up coming artists?
Not at this time. Definitely something to look in to!

Would you be up for collaborations if other musicians wanted one with you? and who would they have to contact?
Absolutely! Myself directly or my managers Megan Lenehan or Mark Still.

Do you play any instruments?
I do not. Just these vocal chords and the stage!

Who are your influences?
Jo Dee Messina. Lady Antebellum. Rascal Flatts. Sara Bareilles. Kacey Musgraves

How do you get inspiration to write songs?
Just life. Conversations. Driving in traffic. Showering. Ideas just come to you.

Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
My goal is to be performing and spreading music year round all over the country

When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
I have a job in the business world getting people out of their timeshare contracts. It’s a part of my life that is completely separate from music and enables me to grow my business acumen.

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
Oh man. Too many to count. Probably something by Kacey Musgraves.

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
“You only have two things in life- your name and your word.” So basically, keep your word. Cause that and your name are all that you really have.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?
Probably just to have fun with it. So many people are so serious on stage and there’s definitely a time for that. But sometimes I think audiences find it easier to connect with an artist who’s havin’ a good time up there and being silly.

What quote or saying do you always stick by?
“There’s no such thing as strangers. Just friends I haven’t met yet.”

Where in your hometown is a must go to visit?
If you’re a history buff, the Imperial Sugar Factory. Where Sugar Land, Texas originated.

Your coming off tour;
1/ Where do you go first?
Home
2/ Who do you see first?
My little canine man, Beau Jackson
3/What do you eat first?
Jeni’s Icecream- Brown Butter Almond Brittle.

When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?
Praying before I begin. Doing a voice lesson. Telling myself I was made for this. Dancing a little bit. My pink energy drink.
