Pop

Give us a little bio about you.

I’m 15 years old and I love creating music. I aim to create tracks that can last for years and never get old. Songs that you could listen to in any kind of circumstance, when you’re sad, happy, angry. My goal is to make songs unlike the disposable pop tracks of today and refresh listeners while also maintaining the familiar sounds of pop.

What made you go in to music?

I’ve wanted to do music for my whole life. I always aspired to be on stage or in a studio writing my next track. I can’t really explain how I got into music because the truth is I don’t remember a time without it.

Can you tell us more about your song 3-2-1.

3-2-1 is my debut studio single. When I first started writing the song I had a clear vision of a party environment with Christmas lights and a crowd of people. On the surface the song is about seeing the girl you really like at a party and trying to work up the courage to talk to her. You have imagined yourself with her for so long and hope she feels the same way. I feel like the song captured the tension of the moments leading up to asking out a girl you’ve liked for a while with lines like, “the truth is I’m nervous, I’m shaking, like nothing I have ever known”.

Who did you work with on the Single?

I worked with Jordan Wright and Andrew Leigh from City of Sound

Who are your influences?

I’m influenced by Ariana Grande, Ruel, Sigrid, Lea Michele, and Shawn Mendes and people along those lines.  I admire how they’re so hands on and in control of what they puts out there. I feel like many artists are obviously very fabricated in this time, as an artist who takes music seriously it’s important to be true to yourself and make your music as authentic as possible. I feel like fans can since when something is fabricated or if it comes from the heart.

I get inspiration from anything and everything around me, my own life experiences, movies, tv, pictures, or even a random person I see on walking on the street.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

I hope to see my music help others with something they’re going through or admire the way I make music just like I admire the musicians I saw when I was younger.

When you’re not doing music, what do you do?

When I’m not making music you’ll probably see me playing tennis, shopping, or just hanging out with my family… or eating, I love eating.
