My name is Molly Marrs I was born in China, adopted by my American parents and raised in Texas. I grew up in Marble Falls, Texas a beautiful picturesque town west of Austin, Texas. I was always busy: cheerleading, playing sports, taking an acting lesson, going to auditions and singing at my church. In 2013 I moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and music.

What made you go into music?
Music truly is the universal language and it’s amazing to see how despite one’s differences; we can truly come together with a song. I think music is something that is relatable for everyone at any point. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and I have been singing since I was 5 years old. I love it and only thank God for the many opportunities from the past and the ones for the future

Are you signed?
I’m currently an independent artist

Your set to release you’re new single ‘All Of Me’ tell us more about it.
I am super excited to finally release this song. This project isn’t just any release, but it’s the first project I’ve really been able to fully invest myself in. I wrote this song during a really challenging point in my life. I was isolated to the point where I had completely lost sight of what I truly came to accomplish. That’s when I had realized I needed to make the decision to let go, and start over. Even though it’s been a struggle and years seem to have been lost, I’ve gained something far greater. The amount of life lessons I have learned through this process has been the most rewarding part.

Describe the track in two word.
Unmatched Resilience

What was the writing process like?
Challenging at first, mixed with many past emotions. However, once the actual writing started it turned into a release and actually therapeutic.

What was the recording process like?
Recording this song was actually quite interesting. We recorded this piece a while back in August of 2017 in Los Angeles. Although we had completed the first draft, I felt like it was incomplete and hadn’t reached its full potential. So I waited to release until now

What is the message you want listeners to take from the single?
Your value doesn’t decrease based off someone’s inability to see your worth! This song is about letting go of the toxicity in life. At some point in time, we have to face our deepest fears in order to reach our full potential. This song was about being at a turning point and in order to have the full victory you have to redirect

In 5 years I see myself on tour performing, going to China to help orphanages, then Eventually leading to opening an orphanage of my own here in States.

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more into the music scene?
Christina Auguleria – Save Me From Myself

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Whatever you do —Do not give up! Hope and Faith! Great motivators!

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians, not about the industry and just as an artist?
As an artist, we are constantly being judged because we fully allow ourselves to be exposed on display. Staying true to ourselves in everything we create is a vital key to having true success. Don’t worry about what others are going to say because they will have an opinion regardless of the situation. As long we feel confident and satisfied from within; that’s when an artist has fully reached its full potential.

What quote or saying do you always stick by?
Go Big or Go Home

Where in your hometown is a must go to visit?
I grew up in a small town of 6,000 where there isn’t much to see. If you go out 15-20 min into the hill country you’ll find something worth seeing. I would highly recommend seeing a neighboring city called Horseshoe Bay. Just a short drive away from Austin TX resting along the shores of Lake LBJ, Horseshoe Bay Resort’s upscale, lifestyle vacation destination has a 5-star J.W Marriot Resort and Hotel. This gorgeous place is absolutely spectacular, from the architecture of the homes, the resorts endless amenities and activities, to the simplicity of the natural landscape. Not many people know about this place, but its a must see. This is where I spent a lot of my time and had many singing performances. I may not have been close to a beach, but I had a special time hidden in one of Texas’ best kept secret+.

Your coming off tour;
1/ Where do you go first?
– First thing I would go to is home!
2/ Who do you see first?– I see my family first, and my dog Ranger
3/What do you eat first? – On tour, I’m sure I’m eating very healthy; so I will definitely be craving some good Chinese food, or some PIZZA

When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?
Hot tea
Earpods
Chewing gum
My Phone
A prayer; before I go out
