Just the desire to be able to create and perform.

Are you a signed?
No unfortunately not

You recently released your new single ‘World Alive’ tell us more about it:
What was the writing process like?
The writing process for this one was fairly smooth, it was one of those songs that wrote itself. It was very spur of the moment.

What was the recording process like?
This track took a fair while to track down. We had drums and bass done for ages and just didn’t know where to take the song for a while.

Who did you work on the single with?
I worked this single with my good friend Dan Lambert at Valhalla studios, he’s a killer producer and we vibe so well together.

What message are you trying to get out?
This track means a lot to me, it was a song written when I was in a bit of a rough head space. I was single at the time and was feeling quite lonely, I was also unsure on my future movements. So it’s written about that desire for a “love” or future goal but not wanting to get hurt along the way.

Describe the track in two words.
Vibey, infectious

You shared the stage with JP Cooper, how did that come about and what was the experience like?
Supporting JP Cooper was for sure a career highlight so far. He is such a wicked musician and an even better guy! He came through my hometown of Cambridge and the venue asked me if I wanted to open up, which I jumped at the chance of course!

Do you have any collaborations coming up with any up coming artists?
No collaborations as of yet, my latest collab got released through Sony this year. It was a dance track with a guy called Moe Aly!

Would you be up for collaborations if other musicians wanted one with you? and who would they have to contact?
I’m down for anything like that! Just hit up any of my socials!

What else do you have planned this year?
This year will consist of more gigs, lots of writing and a couple more releases

Who are your influences?
I have so many from all across genres. My favourites are James Bay, Ben Howard, John Mayer, Ryan Adams.

Which TV channel would you like one of your songs to be played on?
Any TV channel would be epic!!

How do you get inspiration to write songs?
Some songs I feel are written completely from emotional feelings and scenarios, others can be an accumulation of experiences.

Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
Hopefully not doing my day job of Plumbing and sustaining a career off music.

When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
I work full time as a plumber, so fairly
Busy with that. If nothing then just chilling and living the easy life haha.

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
I’d say James bay – scars

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Never give up.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?
Just be you. Don’t ever lose the love to create, as soon as that goes the fun goes with it.

Music matters ( I have that one tattooed on my arm) I feel it solves so many problems.
