Give us a little bio about you.
I’m 22 years old and from Brentwood in Essex. I was living in Brighton for about three years whilst I studied music at university but have just moved back about a year ago. I’m a fun and bubbly person and I LOVE glitter and anything that sparkles. I’m completely obsessed with pop music and spend all my free time writing, producing and performing my original tracks!

 

 

 

What made you go in to music?
I have always loved to sing and as I grew older it became the thing I was mostly good at and my biggest love and passion.

You release your new EP “ Mixed Emotions” tell us more about it.
This EP is what I have been working on most recently and is 100 percent the genre/type of music I love. The whole EP is basically about falling in love and the mixed emotions you feel when doing so.

 

 

 

What was the writing process like?
I normally get down a strong demo and then work with a producer once I have a head full of ideas on how I want the song to sound and what type of noised/beats I want on the track.

 

 

 

What was the recording process like?
I always get the instrumentals down first and then record the vocals on top and then add some harmonies ect.

 

 

 

Who did you work on the EP with?
I wrote everything myself but the guy who helped me produce it all is Jamie Sellers

 

 

 

What message are you trying to get out?
I kind of wanted this EP to have a summery vibe and be something that would be listened to in the sun and have a feel happy/positive feel.

Trying to push for more support/opening slots but at the moment I have

I have a few coming but can’t announce them yet so stay tuned : )

Yes Im always open to working with new musicians I love it! Just dropping me an email or a DM is perfect!

 

 

 

What else do you have planned this year?
I want to do live lounge versions of all my new tracks as well as get a lot more gigs booked in and a lot more colabs done!
Hopefully Ill bee releasing another EP this time next year too!

When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
I like to go to the gym and work out a lot as I think image is really important! I do also love heading up town for a night out when I feel I deserve it!

 

 

 

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
I LOVE Amy whinehouse and she deffinatly influenced me into becoming a writer and a performer

 

 

 

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Keep going and take everything day as it comes! Trying to get to the top is so hard but if you don’t believe in yourself how is anyone else meant to believe in you!

 

 

 

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?
Keep at it and make sure you keep music in your daily routine even if its for 10 minutes! Its defiantly worth it!

 

 

 

What quote or saying do you always stick by?
Be true to yourself and don’t change for anyone!
