What made you go in to music?
A culmination of my Dads & Grandad’s music, Dad cant keep rhythm to
save his life but he did stumble into having a decent taste in music
somehow, then my grandad was a Swing/ Jazz Drummer drummer.
Are you a signed?
Independent to the T.
You have released you EP your EP ‘Routes’ back in December, how has
the response been?
The response to Routes was better than i could have imagined,
stylistically it was a different avenue compared to the usual Lewis
Bootle discography but i think it was the right time to release a
track like that and i think it’s set me up well for the summer
Will we see new music soon?
100%, new track on the 20th April.
Can you give us a teaser if so?
Nah. It’s called ‘Flowers’. That’s the only teaser you’re getting.
You have your biggest show to date on the 19th April, will you be
singing some new tracks?
I sure will and i can’t wait!
Who will be supporting?
Okay, it’s a long list… SANSHA, DIDI, GECKO, POLLY MONEY, MARIA
FERGUSON & a special guest i cannot reveal the name of… but come
down on the 19th and the cloak shall be lifted.

Do you have anymore shows in planning?
I do, for later on in the year…
If so where are you thinking of heading?
I’m thinking Omeara, i went to a show there the other night and it
blew my mind, best venue of it’s size i’ve seen in a long long time. A
strong recommendation for anyone that hasn’t been.
Do you have any collaborations coming up with any up coming artists?
Already on it, I’ve been writing with Frank Turner, Just Jack & Gecko
on a collection of new songs, can’t say too much more, hush hush.
Would you be up for collaborations if other musicians wanted one with
you? and who would they have to contact?

Do you play any instruments?
Guitar and would like to think i can play piano but i really cant,
maybe next year…
Who are your influences?
i mean, this question is always hard to limit down to a few people, is
that what you’re asking of me? If so – Frank Ocean, The Clash & Etta
James – but don’t take this as a summary!
How do you get inspiration to write songs?
I drink Sangria in the park, and then later, when it gets dark, I go
home, just a perfect day feed animals in the zoo, then later, a movie, too, and then go home.
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
With more music and more grey hairs.
When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
Walk my dog, drink Sangria in the park, ya’know, live the simple life…
What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more
in to the music scene?
Train In Vain, The Clash.
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Don’t fuck up.
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the
industry and just as an artist?
Be confident on stage. Don’t fuck up.
