Give us a little bio about you and your music.
I’m a musician from Derry in Ireland, I write songs about my life and things that have inspired me. My music means everything to me.
You just released your lead single ‘ Didn’t Mean To Care ‘, what is the meaning behind the track?
The track is basically about going back to someone who has hurt you over and over even though you know it’s going to go really badly.
What was the writing & recording process like?
The bass player of the band produced the album so the recording process was fun as we already have a great chemistry and work relationship. Writing the songs has been a long process, some were written years ago and some very recent, so the process was long but like a giant release.
You also have your debut album out now, what’s the message of the new record?
The album is a collection of songs from after I “came out” until now, so its kind of a story of my life and what happened over those years.
Where would your dream venue to play?
I’m not sure I have one, I don’t mind where I play as long as people are there to listen to music.
Where is your dream festival to perform?
My dream was to play Glastonbury and I did that last summer, so now I would love to play reading/Leeds festival.
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
To have fun performing as it’s the best part of this industry.
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not just about the industry also just as an artist/band?
To connect with the audience, there is no better feeling than a crowd reacting and enjoying your music.
What quote or saying do you always stick by?
This might be a bit strange but my dad always said this when I was growing up “when the heels and soles fall off your shoes, you’re on your feet again” Which means even when you think you’ve lost everything it just means you get to start over.

2/Who is the first person you see? My girlfriend
3/What is the first thing you eat. Probably something home cooked with vegetables because there isn’t a lot of healthy options when you’re travelling, you just eat whatever’s quickest.
