Give us a little bio about you.
I was born and raised in louisiana, I was always a musician since a kid, and performing just came naturally. I knew that i would be doing exactly what i’m doing now by the time I was 10 years old. I love to move people with music song, and my goal is to inspire millions.
Tell us more about your music.
My music is a blend of genres, but it’s all tied together by soulful vocals. I was influenced heavily by soul, rock, blues, country, and rap growing up in the south. I try to tell stories that are cinematic or make you feel good, i don’t have a whole ton of dark or sad songs.
You have a new single out ’Running Man’, tell us the message behind the track.
Running man is about following your dreams, and overcoming obstacles even when you get tired, or the road gets hard.
What was the writing process like?
I wrote it in like 15 minutes lol…after I started playing the piano riff that repeats, The words kinda just fell out.
What was the recording process like?
I recorded it the same day after I wrote it, so those are the actual vocals from my initial inspiration. About a 6 months after i recorded it though, I went back and added some production and that’s the version you hear.
Will we see a EP or Album this year?
I will just keep releasing singles for now..
Are you heading out on tour or have any gigs coming up?
I have a show August 15th at THE MINT

Youve had you music played on major Tv networks , what is a Tv show you would like to see you music on and why?
I would love to have my music in POWER, it’s the only series that i watch currently because i never have time for tv, but I really like that show.
Who are your influences?
Too many to name really! All the motown and Staxx records artist of back in the day, James Brown, otis redding, bobby womack, BB King, Then there’s my rock side, I’m a huge Metallica fan, soundgarden, rolling stones, tom petty, then of course i love hip hop, so JAY Z, Scarface, Jada Kiss, Pac, biggie. I love country, Garth Brooks especially and jazz too.
 
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
On a boat.
When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
I like working out, and writing other things. I’m working on a screenplay now.
 
Where would your dream venue to play in your hometown?
The Cajun Dome

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene? 
Too many to name, i’ve been wanting this since a kid.
Where is your dream festival to perform?
Coachella
What made you go in to music?
I saw the way people got happy to music that made them feel good, and I wanted to be able to give that to people.
 
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Never give up.
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not just about the industry also just as an artist/band?
Never give up, and remember that it’s a marathon, not a race.
