Tell us more about ‘Crush’
“Crush” is a song about an intense infatuation for someone, especially someone unattainable. It deals with my obsession, fear of rejection and the emptiness I feel when that person is not around.
What was the writing process like?
I wrote the song on my guitar and then built the track around it.
What was the recording process like?
The recording process for “Crush” started with the drum track. I recorded the song with an original vintage Roland TR-707 to give the song that classic, retro feel. I then layered the song with my guitar, bass guitar and vocals.
