Give us a little bio about you
I was born and raised in the little village of Aberdare in the South Wales Valley’s. I’ve performed for over 25 years, where much of my early career was spent performing charity shows during the miners’ strike. I’ve always wanted a career in the music business and I began writing songs in my late 20’s. I’ve performed on a number of national television shows including, Saturday Superstore and Sky Star Search. I’ve been working with my producer David Ezra who has worked with Reggie and Bollie on my debut single Dirty Love, which I’m now ready to release to the world on January 20th.

You are releasing your DEBUT new single ‘Dirty Love’ what’s the story behind the title?
Dirty love is a power ballad, it’s a seductive love affair where the woman is in total control and uses her sexuality to get what she wants.
Describe it in three words.
Soulful, sultry and seductive
How long did it take to write?
It was written and recorded within a day
When is it set to release and can we pre-order?
Set for release on January 20th 2017, and available to pre-order on 23rd December 2016
Do you have any gigs coming up or maybe a tour of your own?
I’ll be announcing some live performance dates in 2017.
Will you be releasing an EP, if so what can you tell us about it?
I’m releasing two singles, the second single will be released in the early spring, then I will be working on an EP.
Where is your dream venue to play in the uk?
My dream is to play Wembley stadium, that would be the ultimate for me.
Where is your dream venue to play anywhere overseas?
Definitely Las Vegas
Do you have any collaborations with any other artists in the planning?
I’ve been working with a singer/songwriter from Texas for my new single, which has been great fun! I’m always looking for people to collaborate with I think it’s important to share influences and creativity when making music.
What made you go in to music?
I’ve performed since a very young age and music has always been a huge passion of mine. I feel like now is the right time for me to share my music with the world!
Do you play any instruments?
The piano, but I’m not very good!
Who are your influences?
Freddy mercury was a big influence in my early career because of his uniqueness, his music taught me you don’t have to fit into a box to become a successful artist, it’s good to be different and push the boundaries of creating music.
How do you get inspiration to write songs?
My Inspiration comes from everywhere, it might be something I hear or see, but most of my songs are based on past experiences.
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
In 5 year’s time I would love to have had a no.1 album, and be on a sell-out world tour! That is my dream, not much I know ha!
What you’re not doing music, what do you do?
I love to catch up with my friends and I especially enjoy family time, It’s very special to me.
What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
I have to say The Great Pretender, as a performer you do have another persona, and this song says it all.
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Never give up even though you face many hurdles to become successful, dream it, wish it, believe it!
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?
Always be true to yourself.

Don’t be afraid to be who you are!

You are away from home on tour for ages and you get back, where is your go to place in your hometown?
My best friend’s house where there’s always a warm welcome and a large glass of wine, a chat and a place to just be me.
