I’VE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO CHAT WITH SOME OF THE @MWCHOIRS LADIES ABOUT THEIR UPCOMING TOUR AND CHRISTMAS ALBUM

What is the band name?
Military Wives Choirs

What is your genre of music?
Classical/choral

Give us a little bio about you as a band and as individuals.

Following the enormous success of No. 1 single Wherever You Are in 2012, Military Wives Choirs have been set up across the country and abroad, bringing more and more women from within the military community closer together through singing.

Released in 2012, the debut album ‘In My Dreams’ featured five choirs. ‘Stronger Together’ shortly followed, featuring 760 choir members from 24 choirs.

With 65 participating choirs, ‘Home for Christmas’ is the Military Wives Choirs’ biggest project yet. The choirs, comprising 1006 singers, can all be heard on the title track Home for Christmas, and the album also features six classic carols which have been updated with lyrics reflecting what Christmas means to women in the military community.
