Growing up I always had a passion for writing and doing music but never serious until I was in college. In college my passion and skills improved to the point, I decided to pursue a career in music. In 2009 I released my first project “The six Boro mixtape” under the artist name “Fardaru”, Using aspects from my life growing up in Far Rockaway queens, and the struggles of living in New York city as the muse for this project. Later I met and teamed up with producer Danny Switchblade in 2010, where I continued to develop my musical sound and experiment with fusing electronica dance and Hip Hop musical genres. It was at this point that I change my name from Fardaru to “SPEED AUTOBAHN” to reflect my fast pace/ high energy musical style.

Best place to visit in Manhattan?

NYC has a ton of cool spots to visit. The best advice for anyone visiting, get a subway map and start downtown and work your way up. Always something to going on in soho, West 4th, lower east side, meat packing district, mid town, Harlem, etc.

When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?

 1) my D.J ( I perform live with a D.J)

2) apple computer
3) wear something comfortable beacuse after 30min-hour set, I find myself drenched like I jumped into a pool.
4) i always have a few guest performers to make the show more exciting and spontaneous.
5) 2 shots of Jack and ginger before I get on stage (relaxs the nerves) and a bottle of water while performing.
