I also just wrapped on a web series project called “Mr. Student Body President” which will be on GO90 backed by NewForm Digital. All and all music and acting is a huge part of my life and I cant wait to share it with all of you.

How long have you been doing music?

Ive been singing and doing music since I could talk.

What made you go in to music?

Music had always been a huge part of my growing up. My mom plays piano, my dad plays drums and my uncle sings. We had music playing in our house and we watched a lot of music heavy movies, specifically Sound of Music. I used to watch that movie 3 times a day every day according to my mom. I just loved it so much and I think thats what made me start to sing.

What was it like uploading your first ever Youtube video?

Boy, that was a long time ago. I think I was really nervous about what people would think. Not so much the internet but more people I already knew. It was also very exciting embarking on a new journey.

You was on ABC (Now Freeform) ‘s ‘Rising Star, what was that like?

Rising Star was a whirlwind! It was an amazing experience and my first time being on a national stage for my voice. I definitely learned a lot about myself. I would have to say that my experience at Rising Star was pivotal to get me to where I am today. I have never known myself or my music better than I do right now and I hope that trend continues.

Did you feel the experience was a good thing?

The experience was definitely a good thing! I learned so much about the industry from the experts on the show and the other artists. It really opened my eyes to how driven and committed you have to be to your music and your sound in order to keep succeeding in this industry.

What was the best piece of advice you received on the show?

Stick to what YOU want not what others try to push you into.

Would you recommend it to others?

Yes of course I would!

Will you be releasing an album or EP?

Yes eventually!

What instruments do you play?

I play piano and a bit of guitar

Who are your influences?

Barbra Striesand, Taylor Swift, Whitney, Sara Bareilles, Kelly Clarkson

How do you get inspiration to write songs?

I draw from my personal experiences. Sometimes I write about super specific instances or I base it off of one thing I saw or heard around me.

Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?

I see myself having a full, successful career in the entertainment industry.

When you’re not doing music, what do you do?

I am also an actress which i enjoy a lot too!!! I’ve acted on Stage and in Film/TV.

If you could collaborate with one UK Artist who would it be?

Either Jessie J or Adele !! They are just so so amazing and powerful. I love their music.

If you could collaborate with one USA Artist who would it be?

Probably Taylor Swift. I think she is a great role model and she is so smart. I would just love to work with her. I think we would get along too 🙂 !

Where is your dream venue or festival to perform in USA?

Madison Square Garden/Radio City Music Hall/Carnegie Hall

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?

There isn’t really a specific song… i just think that music in general allows people to say more than than they can say with just words.

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?

Follow your dreams and don’t worry about the money. If you have a passion for something and you embody it completely, the money will come on its own as a result. Money doesn’t equal happiness.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry just as an artist?

Stay true to yourself, your sound and what you believe in no matter what the people around you say.

What quote or saying do you always stick by?

“Unlimited….my future is Unlimited”-Wicked

When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?

Water with lots of honey and fresh oranges

My makeup bag

My phone

Ricola throat lozenges

Headphones
