Give us a little bio about you.
Vivica jade is currently embarking on releasing her debut solo material. She has already been in studio with writers such as Celetia Martin (The Saturdays / Connor Maynard) and TQ (N SYNC, R Kelly, Whitney Houston) building her catalogue of music ready for release. Vivica Jade has also collaborated with TQ (Westside, Bye Bye Baby) on new tracks for his album as well as her solo projects. She has also been in the studio with renowned production team ‘Incredibles’ (Nick Brewer, Ghetts) to add to the already strong catalogue of tracks.How long have you been doing music?
What made you go in to music?
From as young as i can remember its never been anything else i would have preferred to do. I remember back int he day always feeling a certain magic when listening to music in my room 🙂
And i have always wanted to make people gel that exact same special feeling that i felt back then.

You was on ‘The Voice’ , what was that experience like?
It was crazy, i loved every minute even though the timing was just sooooo close to giving birth to my daughter Jasmine. I just felt like superwoman at the time lol. I was on a mission and i felt that was accomplished when i got those 3 chair turns.
What was the best piece of advice you was given?
Best piece of advise i was given on the show was from Boy George he said thnk outside the box as an artist and take chances 🙂

YES
Will we see an EP or album anytime soon?
Very soon you will be hearing my original material. I’m planning on a July release .
Tell us more about any of your new music you have planned.
Ive been working real hard in studio and just working on the VJ sound lol… its fresh and catchy and just brings out the artist in me and i can’t wait to show people whats in store 🙂
Do you play any instruments?
No i would love love love to play the drums though 😉

Usa wise Alicia keys, beyonce, Christina aguilera….

How do you get inspiration to write songs?
real life inspires me. and if i can imagine performing a song on stage that will bring out the performer in me then it really inspires me to continue …
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
Its a hard one, but i would like to say if i can be anywhere near being a known name that can sell out concerts and I’m inspiring people then i would be truly happy.
When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
spend time with my baby girl, go shopping, see family. Dance and just go out to good food places lol

Actually i have just collaborated with american artist TQ.. but would also love to work with Chris brown that would be dope.

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
oooooo this is hard but i would have to say growing up i have to admit i loved a bit of britney lol she brought a lot of magic to the stage back in the day. She deco inspired me to want to be on stage.
If you could get one of your music on a TV show, which would it be?
I’ve had a tune on eastenders played before which was so weird and cool lol. but i think maybe Towie being a essex girl that would be cool.
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
From the wise words of my mum, Never say never anything is possible.
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?
Be YOU. and nothing but.
What quote or saying do you always stick by?
Music is not what i do its who i am 🙂
When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?
hmmmm …. No1: go ALL OUT no matter where you are. you are only as good as your last performance. No2: Enjoy the moment No3: I always picture one of my vocal coaches who taught me some amazing tricks and tips ( i can’t give them away lol No4: water with no ice lol No5 : people need to leave that venue uplifted
