TayTay– mixed heritage, bilingual, From Tottenham London Singer/songwriter
Jude Read – Mixed Heritage, Bilingual, From Crawley Singer/Songwriter
Ed Goacher – Ex Brighton & Hove Football player From Horsham
Carl Hainsby – SongWriter From Chingford
How long have you been doing music?

Jude, Tay, Carl have been working writing and
performing in a band together for two years before Ed joined.
What made you go in to music?

Music has been a major part of all our lives, I personally
trained in music from an early age – Jude
Are you a signed?

Yes we are signed to a independant label which distributes through
Universal. – Ed
Following the release of your EP ‘Supersonic’ , how did you feel about the response to it?
We are so new as a group on the scene we were pleased with the warmth the Uk showed
the track, we reached number 9 in the Music Week Pop Commercial chart so we are really
proud of it, Supersonic will be released in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxemburg,
Belgium, Netherlands on June 3rd we are so excited that a label in Europe wanted to
release it. – TayTay

You are also releasing you latest single ‘Fighter’, can you tell us more about it.
There is two versions of the track we wanted to show the diversity in a track, so one
version “ Fighter A Side” is urban/pop and the second version “Fighter B Side” is a pop/
rock version.
We had a lot of fun performing the B Side as it was a completley different sound.
“Fighter A Side” is out 1st April, and “Fighter B Side” is out on 15th April. – Carl

What is the inspiration behind the track?
Fighter” was written about the people that try and put you down and show negativity in
chasing your dreams and all it does is make you “Fight” for what you believe in.
There have been individuals that have been involved with us in some way or another on
our musical journeys and elements of our experiences with them have been put into our
lyrics. – TayTay
Can you give us a hint of what the next album or EP will be like?

One thing we are proud of is material we have always worked on original material, we are blessed to have a working team behind us who work along side Franklin Lake, so an album is ready too go whenever we are ready.
The album will be a timeless piece as we believe we have our own sound, The Franklin
Lake Sound with something for everyone to listen too. – Carl

Who are your influences?
We listen to so many different genres and we make it a habit every week to select an artist
and listen to their work so everything from Stevie Wonder to the Weeknd – Carl

Will you be doing any gigs or a Tour?

We always have gigs with dates up and down the
country also a tour is being worked into our schedule which will be mental.- Ed

If you are, where are will you be heading?

Essex, London, Wales, Scotland, Newcastle,
Manchester is what we have seen so far on the diary. – Jude
You was at Soccer Six on Saturday 26th March, was you excited to play or see your fans
more?

It has got to be the fans, always great seeing people and taking all those selfies we
also got Easter eggs given to us, everyone is so supportive and we love them all. – TayTay

What the best gift you’ve ever received off a fan?

This is a tough question as everything we have ever been given is so very special so couldn’t choose, – Jude
Im so excited to talk about your new ‘Selfie Phone Cases’ tell us more about them?
Our Selfie cases were launched by a fantastic company Gooey.HQ in London’s Selfridges,
and on the cases are lyrics taken from our first EP “Supersonic”, One case has the lyric “
It only matters when I hear you” and another one has “I can’t talk about it”.
Inside the cases is a little bio about us and all our social media links, these cases are
collectible.

How did it come about collaborating with Goo.ey to make them?

TayTay met some lovely people at an event and pulled the whole thing together – Jude
What was the design process like, was it hard to decide which lyrics would be used?

We were fortunate enough to work with a designer “Luke” alongside our manager he played
around with some of the ideas and the lyrics were a really obvious choice and in keeping
with our brand. – TayTay
How do you get inspiration to write songs?

Lyrics can come at anytime, from something you experience in life yourself or something you see and feel, its the creative process
which we all enjoy, a lot of the time we write separate songs and then we come together
with musical ideas that we share with producers some songs work and some don’t the
whole idea is to keep writing. – Jude
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?

As long as we are in music we will be happy – Carl
When you’re not doing music, what do you do?

– Play football, Eat and spend time with loved ones as we have to sacrifice time with them to pursue our music. – Ed
If you could collaborate with one UK Artist who would it be?

Rudimental would be a good collab we were with them at Soccer Six so would loved to lock down together and come up with a banger. – TayTay
If you could collaborate with one USA Artist who would it be?

For me I would have to say the Weeknd. – Carl
Where is your dream venue or festival to perform in UK?

Our Dream venue would have to be Wembley. – Jude
Where is your dream venue or festival to perform in USA?

How amazing would it be to perform at Madison Square Gardens we would love that – TayTay

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music
scene?

Michael Jackson’s music has been the biggest influence to us all – Jude
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?

Treat everyone exactly the same from a music exec to someone who brings you a cup of tea, show respect to everyone.
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry just as an artist?
Keep rehearsing, never stop working on your craft.
What quote or saying do you always stick by?

When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?

Hairspray, USB, back up for the USB, Water still not chilled and another back up format for the USB.
