Give us a little bio about you –
I’m from Wirral, England! (Basically Liverpool but no one has heard of the Wirral) I’m currently studying pop music & Sound Tech at Paul McCartney’s music uni for a year! I write weird songs constantly and I enjoy long romantic walks… To the fridge.
How long have you been doing music and what made you go in to music?
I’ve wanted to be a singer for as long as I can remember but often changed my mind by liking photography; musical theatre etc but I’ve always loved the singing aspect of musical theatre! I’ve been singing in front of people in musical theatre since I was 7, I had my FIRST EVER SOLO when I was 14 (Never been so nervous in my life!!!) I spent years deciding what I wanted to be when I was older but singing was always there in the back of my head so after a short trip to Wales (April 2014) one night I randomly downloaded all of Busted’s albums, realised how awesome they are and decided I want to do what they do!

Who are your influences?
A lot of old school pop/rock bands! …. Busted, Bowling For Soup, Green Day, Blink 182… you get my jist!

You’ll definitely be seeing an EP next year;)
Will you be doing any gigs or a Tour?
Hopefully!
How do you get inspiration to write songs?
Most of the time I get inspiration after I listen to my favourite bands or watch a high school ‘American Pie’ type film!
Where do you see yourself in 2-5 Years?
Writing songs for myself and various artists, hopefully I’ll be in a kick ass band!! I definitely would like to be in a band with dudes and not girls though, I just get on better writing and recording with guys cause every guy I work with loves the same bands as I do! .. not many girls I know like to rock out to a bit of old school Blink haha!
When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
Eating, smelling candles… one time I found myself in the Yankee Candle store for 45 MINUTES just smelling every single candle in there… heaven!
If you could collaborate with one UK Artist who would it be?
James Bourne, I love every single song he writes and his band Busted is awesome and he was the reason I started writing songs!
If you could collaborate with one USA Artist who would it be?
I have to admit… I’m turning into a Bielieber so it would be awesome to collab with the man himself… talk about good promo;)
But I would also love to work with the band Bowling For Soup as they have sparked a lot of song ideas for me!
Where is your dream venue or festival to perform in UK?
Liverpool Echo Arena! I’ve seen my favourite artists and bands play; it would be mega for me!
Where is your dream venue or festival to perform in USA?
Probably the Forum in LA!
What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
I’m not sure what song but it was definitely the 2 Busted albums!
What was the first song you wrote?
It was a song called Stay; I wrote that song the day after I downloaded all of Busted’s tracks and was blown away!!
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Miranda Miller from Hey Violet said to me in LA… Practise for at least 2 hours a day on your instrument/s, do anything to promote yourself and make your self known by putting yourself out there, believe you can do it, and with help and support from your mates and family you can do it!
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
Just go for it! Be the musician you want to be… even if you fail a couple of times!
What quote or saying do you always stick by?
‘Good things don’t happen to those who wait… good things happen to those who get up off their asses and do shit!’
