Lisa Ronson knew where she was heading in the career ladder from a very young being brought up with music around her 24-7 with her family and now it’s time for Lisa to use her musical skills she’s learnt and take a dive in to the music scene SOLO,
Being born and brought in New York City and then relocating to London in 2012 it’s safe to say that Lisa is going to bring out great songs with both NY and London vibes mixed in but always have that originality especially with her vocals.
Let’s get talking about the album….
Staring song is an instrumental where you hear Lisa just talking giving you an insight of what the album is about but also a very heavy but slow instrumental all together.
Track two is a song which is called the title of the whole album ‘Emperors of Medieval Japan’.
This track is more upbeat than the first track which is fantastic with the soft piano coming through and when the electric guitar comes in you just know by adding that in to the mix creates a beautiful sound throughout.
Lisa vocals then come through and are very orotund and fantastically go together with the instrumental to create a piece of music you want to listen to and should be heard by you all.
Track three ‘One Lunar Month’ you straight away hear that drum and guitar and its great… I love this track! A again upbeat and really feel the synths pop genre with the echo’s of vocals in the background which gives you that space feel.
The vocal melody again is amazing, this would be one to remember and in a good way! Lisa vocals not just in this track in the whole album are very distinctive and edgy which you will love and want to put this on repeat.
The instrumental is very powerful and solid showing Lisa’s creativeness in the song.

This is just three of the songs on the 9 track album and if you want to hear more you will have to go get it when it is released on the 6th November 2015 … so not that long away, this is an album to not miss out on.
