What is the band’s name?
The Sherlocks
Whats the reason behind the band’s name?
Andy was only 13/14 at the time the band started and he used to state obvious things such as “it’s raining” then followed the remarks such as “well done Sherlocks” & “no sh*t Sherlocks”
The name stuck from that point!

The band consists of two sets of brothers, Kiaran and Brandon | Andy and Josh
We come from a little village near Sheffield.
Kiaran – vocals/ guitar
Brandon – drums
Andy – bass
Josh – lead guitar
How long have you been doing music?
We started jamming in 2010 and we are stil playing now.
What made you go in to music?
Nothing made us go into music, it just kind of happened and processed to this point now.
Are you a signed?
Currently unsigned but have interest from labels
Who are your influences?
The Clash, The Police and The JAM!
When will your new material be out?
New single ‘Heart of Gold’ is out 6 Nov
Will you be doing any gigs besides you Single launch?
We are on a constant tour! Leads straight into 2016. We love being on the road!!!
Where did the inspiration for the new single ‘Heart of Gold’?
Personal experience, about trying to make it work with someone where you know it’s just not going to in the end
How do you get inspiration to write songs?
Mainly from personal experience and observing life in general
Where do you see yourself in 2-5 Years?
I can see ourselves continuing to grow. We would love to play arenas/stadiums!! We are all for the fans and want them to have a great night wherever we play!
When you’re not making music, what do you do?
We rarely have any down time at this stage when we are not touring we are writing and practicing!
You’ve got to commit yourself to make things work in the music industry!
If you could collaborate with one UK Artist who would it be?
Paul Weller, a pure legend and huge influence for me personally!
Where is your dream venue or festival to perform in UK?
We would love to headline the pyramid stage at Glastonbury one year! We are aiming for the top!
Where is your dream venue or festival to perform in USA?
It would have to be Madison Sq Gardens!
What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
Not really one song, more of listening to my dads collection of The Jam and The Clash
What was the first song you wrote?
It was either ‘Meantime’ or a track called ‘Make Her Mine’
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Keep true to yourself! A lot of bands go off the boil when they get a bit of success and it goes to their head
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
Write good songs and work hard! Never stop pushing for what you want. Nobody gives you anything

Mainly so we can interact with them all and see reactions to shows/songs etc
