What made you go in to music?
We always loved singing. Laurin started to like it, when he went to the kindergarden in Fiji (we stayed there for 1/2 year). Nico decided to learn playing the guitar around 11 years ago. That was because of his grandmother, who still plays guitar. She is now over 80 years old and still has a band 😉

The Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Michael Jackson, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran,..
Our music is influenced by a lot of different musicians and different styles.
When will your new material be out?
At the moment we’re concentrating on this song, Back At The Playground. But in a few weeks, we’ll meet up in the studio, to do some new stuff. We have some cool other songs we really want to record.
What is the meaning behind Back at the Playground?
It is about taking everything a bit easier. When people get older, they become more and more serious, and loose the child in themselves. We just want to remind them of having a little more fun again and taking everything a bit easier.
Is there a Album coming out?
We already have a lot of songs, so we just need to record them. An album will definitely be our next project.
When will you guys be touring and where if you are?
At the moment we have a lot of concerts in our home country Austria, and in Germany. We are planing, to come to the UK in the beginning of 2016, but there’s nothing fixed yet.
How do you get inspiration to write songs?
We always think about situations in our lives and then write about it. Sometimes it’s like a therapy. But sometimes there’s just a little melody in my head and i think “wow, that’s cool!” and write it down. You can get inspiration from everywhere.
Where do you see yourself in 2-5 Years?
Well, if we could decide, what we’ll be doing in 2-5 years, we would tour around and make all our money with our music. It’s really our goal, to make it to our job.
When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
We’re going to school and university. And in our free time we love to dance, play football, play fifa, or just meet our friends.
If you could collaborate with one UK Artist who would it be?
Ed Sheeran!
If you could collaborate with one USA Artist who would it be?
Well, since When you’re not doing music, what do you do? Jackson is dead… It would be Bruno Mars, probably.
Where is your dream venue or festival to perform in UK?
Well, there are a lot of great festivals in the UK, we would love to play at, some day. For example Boardmasters, V Festival, and and and.. And it would be great to once play in the O2 Arena.
Where is your dream venue or festival to perform in USA?
The biggest dream of every musician is the halftime show of the superbowl. All the legends played a show there. Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry,… But of course, it’s a long way to get there 😉
What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
The song, that made us play together (singing, guitar and drums) was Knocking On Heavens Door by Bob Dylan. We listened to this a lot. And also a lot of Beatles songs influenced us in our early times. Like Let It Be, for example.
What was the first song you wrote?
Nico: I started experimenting with songwriting, when i was around 9 years old. But the first song with guitar and two voices, I wrote with 12 years. It’s called Dream To Be Free and is about my wish to learn flying.
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
Our parents always said, we should live in the moment. The past has happened and the future will be, but you can only live in the here and now. It changes a lot, if you think about it and live like this.
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
Always keep on doing, what you want to do. It’s a hard buiss, a lot of work and a long way. But never forget your goals and if you keep on trying, some day you’ll reach them. It helps to do this step by step. A first goal could be, to get in the radio or the newspaper. The next one could be to get air-play or to get in the charts. But it’s important to always practice and keep on doing your thing, if you want to be in music business. Go everywhere you can, to get new contacts and meet new people, who can bring you further.
What quote or saying do you always stick by?
There will always be an happy end. And if it’s not happy – it’s not the end.
When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you can never forget?
The location its self. It’s something we usually always remember. Another thing is, the new people we meet there. At the most gigs, there are a lot of great other musicians and it’s always nice to meet somebody new. Then there is this special feeling on stage, when you see the people dancing or listening to your music, or even singing with you. And what we also don’t forget, is the clothes we have worn at the gig. Of course we also remember the songs we sung there.
