How old are you? 25
What is your genre of music? It’s always difficult to label music, but in think ‘pop/funk’ sums it up quite well.
How long have you been doing music? I’ve been singing since I could talk, but have been a professional musician for the past 3 years since I finished Uni.
What made you go in to music? Music has always been in my family and it just seemed a natural progression.
Are you a signed Artist? Not Yet! I have been in the past though.
What instruments do you play? Guitar and Cello as well as a singer
Who are your influences? Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, Steven Wilson, Jimmy Eat World among many others.
When will your new material be out? It’s already available on itunes, spotify, amazon etc
What is the new single about? Having to make a tough decision. Something which you know you have to do, but can’t quite bring yourself to do it.
Where did the inspiration for the single come from? Musically, I’ve always been into funk music, so creating funk riffs is natural to me. Lyrically, it’s something which I think everybody faces quite often so is very relatable.
I assume you have lots of other songs written what made you choose ‘Decisions’ to be the single? Yes I have about 30 songs in my repertoire so far! It just seemed like a good time to release a song with this sound.
How long did it take to write ‘Decisions’? Not very long actually. Once the creative juices were flowing, it probably took less than an hour to compose all parts and write the lyrics
How do you get inspiration to write songs? Either from everyday life, or from daydreaming about interesting situations and scenarios
Where do you see yourself in 2-5 Years? I just want to keep progressing as a musician. I have so many ideas of what I want to do, I can’t wait to see which ones come to fruition
If you wasn’t doing music what would you be doing? I run a maths tutoring business so I would either develop that, or move into professional modelling, as I do a bit of part time modelling at the moment. Whatever I do, I like to run my own business.
When your not doing music,what do you do? Maths tutoring and music takes up most of my time, so I tend to try and relax by going to the cinema and stuff like that in my spare time.

Where is your dream venue or festival to perform in UK? Royal Albert Hall

What’s the best advice you have ever been given? Be yourself
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians? Be yourself
What quote or saying do you always stick by? I tend not to live life by quotes or sayings, as they don’t necessarily relate to real life.
When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you can not forget? Guitar, lyrics, what the venue is, what the audience may be feeling, and to enjoy it.
